Our family loved everything about it,and the owners are lovely we got to have a swim in the natural lake with them,the farm eggs were amazing for breakfast ,the walks are breath taking and everywhere lit up at night with glowing lights,we woke up morning with bunnies and pheasant at our door step

No nothing loved every minute didn't want to leave,even extended are stat while down there

Something exceptionally different and special in a class of its own. The perfect secret little hide away for a couple like us. The perfect and easy way to get away for a couple of days in a camping-ish way. Very affordable and comfortable. We cooked each night in La Shack and loved the showers. very well designed and decorated. pretty much everything you need is there. beautiful walks and views to switch of and get away from it all. We loved one of the days when it was raining, hiding in our shack, the fire lit and listening to the sound of the rain, snuggled up reading our books. Just lovely. Drogeda is not to far away, 20-30 min drive away with shopping and the cinema. Plenty to do in the slane local area to.

Need more Shacks/ wagons. We’ve tried to book back in again on 3 different dates when we can both take leave from work, but our dates are booked out. We’ll keep trying.

Our room was like a world away! Unbelievably cozy and secluded.

A chair in the hut would have been a little useful but I'm really clutching at straws!!!

The staff were very friendly and their was an exceptional amount of facilities, lovely walks around the farm.

Absolutely stunning views, all of the huts are in close proximity to the shared facilities which have everything one could require. The hut we stayed in was lovely and temperature was easy to control. The hottub was a beautiful part of the stay, a truly unique experience

the path to drive up was slightly bumpy but the pigs were cool to look at so driving slow was ok

The waggon (Apple) we stayed in was very cosy. we stayed in January 2023 and with either the electric heater or wee fire going, we were kept very warm. I brought hot water bottles with me, and I was sweating. they weren’t needed. The waggon was cosy and romantic. The bed was spacious and comfy. The ‘le Shack’ communal area was brilliant. we are in there each evening and cooked in the oven and hob nice pasta bakes and curry’s. The kitchen has everything you needed to cook with, and clean up after with provided. The showers were lovely also. A lovely surprise and nice and warm once ran for a couple of minutes. We would love to go back and visit again in the summer to try the outdoor BBQ and pizza oven. You can tell the place has been given a lot of love and thought out into it!

Now, I am being quite petty here. I would say a seat or more places in the shower to hang your coat and clothing. A basin and a plug for washing the dishes in the sink at Le Shack after cooking. I felt bad rinsing the dishes and letting all the hot water drain away. You can tell a lot of love and thought has gone into the place, in so many ways and the above is being very very petty.

Everything, the surroundings and the facilities. The Shepherds Hut was very cosy, relaxing and romantic. Our hosts had thought of everything.

As it's a working farm, have the wellies packed.

Nice and comfortable stay in the Pine Sheppard's Hut. The Shack facilities were good, and pizza making was enjoyable in the outdoor Pizza oven.

Unfortunately, I thought there could have been better power connections in the hut, - There was one extension lead and it wasn't easily accessible from the bed. I thought if there had have been an extension lead or socket to the far side of the bed, on the shelf/ledge it would have been easier to charge phones etc.

The settings were absolutely beautiful. The amenities were a great experience, could not fault a single thing and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
