Fantastic little place, very secluded and private,much appreciated the food for us after a long drive made you feel welcomed.

Presented very well with many little extras to make you feel at home. Host was very accommodating and area and view were lovely

Beautiful setting, lovely place, cosy and secluded.

Slightly tricky to find. Heron hill is a narrow lane and the gate isnt marked but a quick phone call and wallah. Bar that getting in and out of the driveway is slightly tricky if your car is big and potentially unwise if you drive a car with low ground clearance. Bar that nothing bad. Its lovely.

So peaceful and quiet and lovely outside in the garden. Everything was there that we needed a wonderful stay!

There wasn’t anything that we could say about not liking the Chicken Shed

Very good supplies including eggs bacon sausages freshly baked bread and milk tea and coffee.

No oil for cooking, no toilet brush and no bowl in the sink

The setting was picturesque, very secure and not far from the owners house, if we needed anything. The underfloor heating is a nice luxury and the welcome basket was superb quality. we will definitely be back to stay!

The chicken shed is a little gem in a great location. Lots of amenities just minutes away by car. This place exceeded our expectations. The pictures do not do it justice, it's set in a beautiful enclosed garden that we just fell in love with, along with the views. Perfect! Hosts were lovely and generous in making sure you have everything you could ever need. The breakfast goods were delicious! Thank you for everything. We don't normally go back to the same place twice but for this one we would probably make an exception.

Both of us liked that the host had provided a plentiful choice of locally sourced breakfast items. The basket in the bathroom packed with everyday items one might forget when packing ! Glass bottle recycling available. Enclosed, well established private garden area overlooking grassed fields and hedges, lovely views Building was nicely furbished, and clean.

We would have liked to have seen updated leaflets in accommodation, also menus from local eateries would of been handy. The sloping bedroom roof, however, we worked with it, my husband is over 6ft tall !
