Breakfast was a bit amateurish - if breakfast is from 7am then everything should be ready at 7am, not progressively up to 7.40am

San Pedro de Atacama is a small, dusty desert town. Hotel Kimal is not -- it is an oasis in the desert. The property is clean, well-maintained, safe, and conveniently located. The restaurant on-premises is welcoming and of excellent quality, including the small but well-chosen selection of drinks.

We visited during the winter, so could not use the pool facilities which looked like they would be refreshing in the summertime heat.

great hotel, beautiful rooms, definitely the best (and freshest) breakfasts available and great onsite restaurant for dinner too.

Some bungalows back onto some of the “live music” venues on the Main Street so there is a live concert for you each night. definitely bring some ear plugs if that would bother you. still though fab place in the desert.

Excellent staff; good facilities: pool, restaurant and massage on site; large room; well located so all in all a good place to stay when visiting the Atacama.

Room had no fan or A/C. Breakfast was repetitive.

The Hotel staff were great in particular Romina who was very helpful and kind . Great location and facilities.

The restaurant staff seemed disorganized and at times not very helpful. Took a long time to get cocktails.

Located steps from the main tourist street with shops, tour companies, restaurants, market. Quiet, especially given central location. Restaurant was fabulous food - fresh and interesting options for dinner. Spa services easy to book, and reasonable for basics. Rooms clean and comfortable. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Stored luggage between check out and departure. Included breakfast of eggs, fruit, juice, bread, cereal, yogurt, coffee, tea.

Wifi in rooms was spotty - better closer to the road. Worked pretty well in common areas, which is what was promised.

the family room was a bit small for two adults and two teens. would be more ideal for smaller kids.

Great housekeeping and breakfasts were very good.

Parking is in a locked facility so sometimes other cars have to be moved before you can get yours out.

Great location, excellent service/staff, very accommodating, e.g. preparing breakfast bag for days we had an early start. The architecture is also very interesting, using traditional materials and methods but in a comfortable setting. Restaurant for dinner also very good.

Wifi was basically not working the whole time.

the wifi mostly didn’t work, the pool was not usable, using the hot tub is additional $20 per use. some staff was really sweet but most were unhelpful. over all it just seemed like a simpler hostel might have been a far better value for money than this place.

We really lived everything about our stay. The staff was very helpful and specially the lady at front desk SEVLA who came to pick us up from the airport and dropped us back too. she is a amazing person so helpful and good heart. I would really recommend her .

Property is really good . I think little bit improvement in breakfast will be good.
