The staff was excellent and very accommodating. Due to a booking error, we were upgraded to the ocean front room and it was fantastic. We were so grateful to experience that. The buffet breakfast was very nice and the omelette station was the highlight. The location is secluded and quiet making for a very peaceful stay. The pool area was lovely and we loved how it was surrounded by garden and forest. We were able to do some excellent snorkeling right off the beach from the resort, as well as from the beach on the other side, which was a short 10 minutes walk.

You could tell that the resort was trying to get up and running again post pandemic, so although they have facilities, such as a gym and spa, they weren't fully functioning just yet. The space on the property has such great potential though! We stayed over Christmas and were a bit disappointed they didn't have a special menu for dinner on Christmas. They had a special menu on Christmas Eve, however it wasn't advertised to us, while we were there unfortunately.

Room and toilet were very big. Beds are soft. There is also sofa in the room. Pool was big, clean and very nice. Not much people at the pool, we were only quests there sometimes. Hotel has big property, it's nice to walk there at the evening. Hotel beach is very lovely and not crowded at all. Breakfast is very tasty, nice to eat by the sea :)

Restaurant is expensive, but it's an island. Light mud smell sometimes in the room, but this is no big deal at all.

There was a lot that we did not enjoy about this stay so I will try to keep to the point. If it weren’t for the nice setting and beautiful beaches we would give this place a lower number. - For starters communication was dreadful. We didn’t hear back from the hotel for 36 hrs after 6 unanswered emails asking basic questions about the ferry time and confirming our booking, we asked our other hotel to ring them and they said “their reservation desk was off that day” (Sunday) We nearly cancelled but then feared they would charge us. - Their ferries only leave Phuket at 9.30 am and back to Phuket at 3pm which meant we had to arrange for a night in Phuket in order to make our flight as there was no other affordable way off the island. - The boat over left an hour late and was extremely overcrowded and hot. - check in isn’t until 3 so you just have to wait for a few hours when you arrive. - The staff were really rude and unhelpful with poor English. I would advise checking your bills as we were overcharged by 1,000 TB which they gave back once we told them. There was also confusion despite us emailing several times that our booking was changed from 4 to 3 nights. - The room itself- the tv and air con did not work. The rooms was dirty, with cockroaches and termites eating the wood of the bed. -The staff would not replace our beach towels and said they were low on them. - The only restaurant was good but overpriced and did not give you water. it is also a walk away from the room. - The staff had an air of distrust about them, even the guy who gave us snorkels tried to rip us off and demanded we pay in cash. Overall this was our most expensive stay in Thailand and we were very disappointed with the hotel and service from start to finish

do NOT book this hotel, i totally do NOT recommend! - when we checked-in our key was not at the reception, we were told to go to the room and ask the maids to give us the key, no directions given, after looking for the room by ourselves we managed to find the right building, but clearly something was wrong with our room. we were told to wait - no futher explanations. they gave us another room instead. - A/C was not working. at check-in w were handed a leaflet with a whatsapp number for assistance if needed. we texted them about the A/C - no answer. we had to sleep in a piping hot room. A/C got repaired the next day after us having to complain at the reception personally. - evening before check-out we had to inform ourselves about the boat transfer to phuket. we reconfirmed several times, it was scheduled at 3pm next day. when we checked out the next day we asked again about the transfer - LUCKILY! instead of 3pm it was rescheduled to 1pm. if we hadn’t asked again we would have missed the boat. we were told to wait in the lobby, they would call us as soon as the boat was ready. as i coincidentally looked out of the window i saw our boat leaving. i ran to the reception and asked them whether they forgot about us - in total shock they called the boat back. - my boyfriend‘s nose started to bleed in the night, accidentally there were some stains on the bed sheet - nothing that couldn’t be fixed with some bleech. we got charged 1000 baht for it. - at check-out i asked to pay by credit-card. the girl tried a few times but the terminal didn’t seem to work. i tried another card, same result. after getting looks and comments about my card might being overcharged and blaming me she told me to get cash at the atm in front of reception. atm was not working and she told me i had to walk 20mins to the next atm. after refusing to do so she called the restaurant and they brought another terminal over which functioned.

The location is amazing. Absolutely beautiful infact… if you like nature and wildlife then this place does everything and more. Totally untouched and I hope it stays this way. The hotel is spaced out through convinient corridors in what seems to be a jungle. On site restaurant and bar, but also 5/10 mins walk to local sea food and pad Thai restaurants. Also a shop at the entrance to the resort. Perfect. The hotel is literally on the beach too. We were lost for words at this islands beauty and the resort fits in perfectly with it. Would highly recommend over the other resort on the island which seems very commercial.

The price, staff, location, pool, and food were excellent.

This is what largely contributed to me not giving a higher grade but I paid to get my clothes washed and I later found out that my (polo) shirts had shrunk so much after being washed by them that I had to throw them away costing me a few hundred euros.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. Mr Tai did not save any efforts to help us make the best of of our stay. You see the love and warmth on everyone face. The island is very exclusive and provides unique experience.

Absolutely incredible team of staff who couldn’t do enough for you! The resort was spacious and beautiful. Set on the nicest beach on the island with amazing snorkelling, swimming. True island serenity. The service was unmatched and we were treated like royalty. The food, from the breakfast buffet to every dish we tried was fresh and delicious!

Old, poorly maintained. Biggest hotel catfish. we left the hotel after two nights (instead of staying for the full duration of 5 nights). the island used to be beautiful but after pandemic is completely neglected and just sad. The hotel must have been a beautiful destination many decades ago!

The food is fantastic, so much variety. The staff cannot do enough for you. Mr Al and Peach and Nick were the best team

Nothing Loved it all

All the above ! Also if we had a problem with a maintenance issue it was sorted out swiftly. The staff spoke good English and were so accommodating.

We stayed during COVID-19 after 14 days in the Phuket Sandbox. We were the only guests and stayed in the nice, spacious Beach Front Family Room. Staff was very friendly. They got us fresh fish from local fishers, and drove us around with their tractor to and from the pier and to the sunset viewpoint . The beach is great and we loved the flying fish, the monitor lizards and the occasional cow herd. Snorkeling is possible, even during the rainy season. We stayed 5 nights as an intermezzo during the Nikorn Marine coral island/Ko Racha tour.

The Chino rooms and the pool were closed. The equipment such as the gym, canoes, etc. need some fixing. Food options were limited, as there were not many guests.

Amazing place !! A little paradise with a private sand beach The staff is very friendly and you can eat fresh fish wich is fishing just in front of you!! The wild nature around makes this place magic!

Amazing everything. The island provides great food, snorkeling, and beautiful beaches. I could live on this island and be happy. I recommend the hotel absolutely.

No policy concerning wearing of mask in common areas. Many many guests gathered en masse at the buffet with no mask and not using tong or utensil to serve themselves. There were no signs as there was no policy and no masks provided. We made sure to arrive early to avoid being infected.
