Very friendly hotel staff, great location and amazing pool!

Only small thing would be a suggestion to cut the grass around the pool area - it would elevate the look of the grounds. But this is a small criticism in an otherwise wonderful stay at this hotel.

unfortunately the chef was ill and no service was available for lunchtime they found a solution for the lunch but it would have been nicer to ha the che.

we had a great pool/sea view, the room we had was the basic one but it had everything we needed and was nice and clean. good location within walking distance into the main areas of Parikia and beaches.

The views, large pool and, overall minimalistic and pleasant design make it a nice place to stay in.

Although it looks like it is newly renovated it is all already crumbling. The walls cracking, doors slamming, air conditioning failing, poolside beads with screws falling out. What could be a nice 15min walk to the town is actually an adventure on the busy road with only fhe hints of pavement.

The staff was very nice and really try to help. They made reservations and helped with taxis

I thought the hotel was rundown, room was dirty they never gave us towels, The pool area needed to be groomed better. Grass was overgrown and and not manicured. It was hard to get around. And the taxi that they arranged overcharged me.

Lefteris at the reception was friendly and polite. Nice big balcony with great view, nice exterior breakfast area, parking with shade for cars. Nice swimming pool and garden. Breakfast was good, it needs improvements in presentation

Cleaning of the rooms must be improved. The room was not cleaned properly both days only towels were replaced and the room and veranda were not swept at all. Οn the balcony there are cobwebs on the base of the ceiling pillars, which shows the lack of sweeping for days. The maids have the clean towels and sheets in bags thrown in the corridor, not very nice to witness this. In general we felt that with better maintenance and care for the product the experience would be much better. Staff was polite but baddly dressed.

The view, the room, the pool and breakfast is all just amazing. The staff were all so friendly and really accomdating.

A hotel room book with instructions onbhow to use aircon would have been really helpful.

very clean, well presented, good facilities

We stayed at High Mill in June as a couple and would definitely recommend it. Mannos and the team were very friendly and helpful, including booking a quad for us to explore the island. Rooms were stylish and comfortable. We even got a free upgrade to a beautiful room with large terrace overlooking the sea. The pool is a real highlight! You are a little way out of town (10 min walk) but for that you get so much more for your money. The first part of the walk into town was along a busier road, but we didn’t find that too bad. Parikia itself is absolutely stunning! So many waterfront restaurants, pretty backstreets and shops to be explored. We personally preferred it to our stay in Naoussa because we found it to be more authentic and laid back. We’d recommend doing a boat trip around Antiparos island which depart from the harbour in Parikia. Palm beach is also a must!

With the exception of breakfast, the restaurant and bar are ‘closed until April 2023’. This is only mentioned under the Important Information section of the property listing so is hard to find. We’d suggest removing the mention of restaurant for lunches and dinners from the Property Description section for now, as it is misleading to customers. On the plus side, the team would be happy to make the odd Aperol Spritz or bring beers down to the pool, however stock was low. Another minor complaint would be that the option for eggs and omelettes at breakfast was not on any signs and the staff never offered it. We only found out on the last morning of our stay when we saw another guest order.

The hotel was excellent in all things. The staff went out of their way to make you feel welcome and cared for. Theodore was beyond helpful and gracious. He booked me a car and made arrangements for the winery! This was a most please thank surprise with a great yard, terrace and pool! My only regret is I didn’t stay longer. Breakfast was also most pleasing and service was wonderful. Díane

The room had a sink right next to the bed - something that we missed in the photos. The safes doesn’t work in none of the hotel rooms. The checkout process felt inefficient and redundant.
