Location to the Airport

Bathroom, Shower didn't work well, no hot water

The Relax Inn is close to the airport. Arriving and departing planes did not disturb me. I was not in during the day and there were no planes arriving/departing during the night. Transport to/from was easily available as mini-buses pass regularly. 1. I liked that there was a cafe next door which served breakfast and lunch. Also, they provided a late lunch, if requested. 2. I liked the view from the balcony. I moved the furniture from the room to the balcony to have meals, early morning and late afternoon, so that I could enjoy the view.

There was no kitchen sink in the room. The bathroom door did not open a full 90 degrees.

The view was stunning (unless you don't like airports) I chose this purely for distance of the walk to the airport(15 - 20 mins downhill) as I was leaving early morning and didn't want to use a taxi. A few tiny traditional bars close by with friendly locals (who took the time to teach me domino's!) The owner was friendly and welcoming which isn't always guaranteed in the Caribbean!

Not easy to find food locally which is tricky if needing to eat out. We caught a short bus ride into grand anse and ate there. I chose this purely for distance of walk to the airport(15 mins downhill) as I was leaving early morning and didn't want to use a taxi. If catching a bus to the hotel many will drop you at the junction and it was a hard walk uphill with heavy luggage. The bed is not the comfiest and very squeaky!

No breakfast, location was a little further than I realised from where I wanted to be. The receptionist / manager was extremely lovely and kind, very welcoming and helpful.

Breakfast option wold be nice

The staff was extremely hospitable. The apartment was cleaned everyday.

Hot water was not available in the shower throughout my stay. There is no kitchenette as advertised. There was a mini fridge, a microwave and a kettle with cutlery upon entering the room. The kettle couldn't plug on where it was as the electrical outlet wasn't compatible.
