modica is not the best of the baroque towns as it is very spread out. we preferred Noto

We loved staying here. It’s comfy and clean, situated in a great location at the top of Modica and with the most gorgeous garden with lemon, orange and mandarin trees. The smell of orange blossom through your bedroom window was glorious! Our hosts were also fab. so friendly, keen to help out and make our stay comfortable. Finally - the breakfast is plentiful and delicious Sicilian home cooking.

Both the host and his daughter, were especially friendly and helpful. The view from our room was very nice. The B&B has a lovely garden and parking just a short walk away.

We loved the owner and his garden. Nice balcony. Very good breakfast. We reserved a small parking garage - worked quite well.

First night was a 2 !, second night was a 10 so I had to give just 7. First night, there were no hot water - I mean just freezing water, we had to skip the shower - we messaged the owner but it was only taken care of the following day. The water was the small issue...in the room above ours they where doing renovation or something throughout the night, loud noise of dragging furnitures and banging went on and on and on, well after 3am. We tried to ask for quiet but this room had a different entrance so we couldn't find it in the middle of the night. We had no sleep and thought to look for other place for the next night when the owner promised the noise will stop.

We loved almost everything about our stay: the room, the balcony, the view, the garden setting for breakfast, the hospitality.

The food for breakfast could be better. Juice was too artificially sweet. Lots of sugary treats. A little more protein would be nice.

parking could be difficult

The only place during our trip around Sicily, which had radiators - very big '+' is early spring. Our room had a view on mountain and on small garden just near the house, where citrus trees are visible. Freshly squeezed orange juice in breakfast directly from the garden. Perfect or even more than perfect breakfast done by host! Tasting of home made chocolate and other sweets and additionally also oranges as a gift for us. Also a good suggestion to go to Trattoria da Fabio, which was luckily open on Friday evening - good food for a good value.

A true paradise! The host is such a lovely, kind and respectful human being. The self-made and truely sicilian breakfast in the wonderful garden was definitely my highlight.

The owner fantastic old man. Great breakfast, all you need, even orange from the owners garden. Beautiful view from the room & bathroom. Good location, all around.

We were warmly welcomed and our room had a beautiful room of the garden with wonderful sunshine. We couldn’t have asked for anything better from our host, who not only made us a lovely breakfast with freshly squeezed juice from the garden but was thoughtful and attentive throughout our stay. Would recommend to anyone. Lovely host and lovely place to stay.

The B&B is a beautiful historic stone house with some baroque features in the amazing garden. Our room with a nice view of Modica was quiet and spacious, very tasty furnished. Comfy beds. Very well equipped shared kitchen, even complimentary botles of water. Beautiful and stylish foyae. Wifi fast and free. Very charming and responsive host, who made very good sicilian breakfast to us in his beautiful mandarin garden. Privat parking in the garage.

Great views of the area, fabulous shower (nice hot shower that lasts longer than 5 minutes), comfortable beds, great restaurant that offers breakfast and dinners, tasty wines

The Sicilian breakfast in the private garden was just lovely! And our room was big and very comfortable. We did not try out the shared kitchen, but it looked very well equipped. Our host was very congenial and proudly gave us a tour of his garden. Just a wonderful place to stay!

The staff was very welcoming. The room super clean. Breakfast excellent in the garden of the facility. The owner is a very nice person, and he prepared lots of food, including some vegetables from his garden.

The owner really does everything to make your stay memorable, the breakfast was amazing and the room very nice. The only challenge for the stay was the location of the hotel which is on the hilltop of modica. The public transportation is not very convenient, so you have to run up and down a lot.

Incredible location bang in the centre of Modica Alta. The owner is super nice and welcoming and the aboundant and delicious breakfast is served in the garden of the property which overlooks the city. Absolutely 100% recommended

Nothing, all was really good

This was by far the best deal in whole Sicily. Georgio, the owner is the kindest man, he took so much time to explain everything, he was funny and so friendly. He kept on bringing more and more yummy food to our breakfast table nestled in the middle of the beautiful mandarin garden in front. The food was simply amazing, the room very clean and comfortable with everything you need. Totally recommended.

It is a bit of a hill to climb where the property is located but the whole town is set on steep hills so that was no surprise. Giorgio was upset when he heard we walked all the way up from the train station and said we should have called him and he would have come and picked us up. So there is that option apparently...

The breakfast included a wide selection of local products, sweet and salty, which were served in the garden and beautifully arranged before us. Way beyond anything we could have expected.

The bed structure was antique as the rest of the furniture. a bit noisy

Lovely BnB in a 100 year old home, comfortable bed, AC, and a communal kitchen (we were the only ones there at the time). Our balcony overlooked the garden And I will post a picture of the full moon from the balcony.Giorgio was a terrific host. We had an exceptional breakfast each morning in his beautiful garden. The home is located at the top of Modica.
