Just right space for you to stay comfortably (not too big, not too small), as well as the size of the restroom. Hotel is very clean with nice decorations especially on the 2F. Staffs are friendly adding the other level of comfort for the stay. Location, although ~20-25 minutes by train from Kyoto, is very convenient with only ~1 minute walk to JR station.

basin tap with too little hot water and it is not comfortable in Winter.

Old school look, however maintaining good appearance afterall. Consider pricin plus clerks' hospitality, nothing can complaint

Breakfast fully consts its money. Better location for this city is hard to guees. Superior interior. You can have a photo with Kennedy himself!
See-through rooms better to have some locks on doors and toggleable dim/fog glass walls in the toilet and bathroom. Or at least it could be clearer photos of the rooms on this site.
