The room

Excessive noise from a Party of Germans who screamed and shouted blind drunk having a party in their room slamming doors until 4:00 am. Our comfort was not important to the hotel. We repotted this to reception who did nothing!!!

The room was spacious and clean, the staff were super nice and accommodating and the restaurant was great. I'd highly recommend a stay here. Recco itself is perhaps not the most exciting town (though there's a great place for pesto and another for focaccia very close by), but the hotel is worth the stay and Recco is a great fall out base for the surrounding area such as Portofino and further afield in Liguria.

Staff were very welcoming, location great, breakfast included was fabulous, freshly made omelets and coffee. Late checkout takes the pressure off..wish we were staying longer.

Room just a little dated, could use a refurbishing.

There was no on-site parking. We either had to park on the street or 100m away from the hotel. The internet was not available resulting in missing several work team meetings. We were not placed in the actual hotel but in a separate block away from the hotel. Our requirements were on site parking and internet access. Neither were available and we question Booking.com checks as the advert was very misleading.

Just about got parking. Good breakfast with nice views from the balcony. Hotel restaurant food was a good option for dinner. Free water in fridge on arrival was a nice thought.

Air conditioning wasn't very effective. Decor of room was off putting and the hotel has a very cluttered style in general. Staff were okay not the most pleasant.

The restaurant was very good and the lemon cake from the chef was fantastic. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was good.

The hotel room was small and had a strong soap smell. The AC took quite some time to work but worked eventually.

The restaurant is 1st class. We had a light lunch in the main restaurant and evening meals on the upper terrace We had seasonal food, prepared in ways that we had not come across before, a real treat. Super care and service. We have been before and will go back.

Very tasty food at therestaurant with very nice staff. A lot of space in the rooms.

Outfashioned sheets. Too little sorts of food for breakfast and nothing special. Long time to wait for your coffee.

Really liked the bedroom, it was spacious and furnished with taste. The restaurant experience was great (famous for focaccia di Recco, but everything was excellent), warm athmosphere, friendly staff, possibility to park for free. Very good value for money.

On a busy road but it was quiet at night and the traffic only started at 7am so it was fine

Location, breakfast was ok.

We asked for two single beds, hotel confirmed they were available, but on arrival we found a king bed. Wifi password provided by the hotel was incorrect, so we could not use the wifi. We couldn't use the safe because it was closed, we asked the receptionist to help us, but he said he was alone and didn't know when he could have come to fix it. Overall, unhelpful staff, old-style room, and unreasonably pricy for the service offered.

No attractive appartement/room/environment. Very poor wifi. Almost everything about the shower.

Very cheap option in the region. We stayed as a middle night because our other hotle was full. Very good value for money but of course it's only recommended if you need to keep a low budget. Location is not great and breakfast is horrible. Wojld recommend to not go to this area at all if you want to keep this type of budget. You'll get better value elsewhere

The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. It was an easy walk to get from the hotel into the centre We enjoyed the restaurant especially the foccacia di Recco!!

We were hurriedly checked into a dirty room and we would have been perfectly happy to leave our luggage and have lunch before going to the room but the reception or the restaurant/hotel was insistent that we went to the room first! I think because we arrived in the middle of a busy lunch time they were stressed. The shower is facing the outside of the bath - so there is very little room to stand or manoeuver. Not sure why it is not at the normal place on the wall at the end of the bath facing into the bath so there is more room. There is no shutter or blind on the window that is directly opposite the bed (but there is on the other windows!). Consequently I was woken up very early in the morning.
