Our visit to Pelion was one of the most relaxing and memorable vacations we have ever had. The combination of the hilly, mountainous landscape with the sea just minutes away make Pelion a very special place. We loved its quaint and charming villages, and how each village square has an ancient tree in the center. Muses Country House is an impressive, beautifully-furnished authentic Greek house. Mr Cosmas is the most friendly and welcoming host and a wonderfully warm person, and his tips on where to go and what to see were extremely helpful! We absolutely fell in love with Pelion - the nature, the food, the people - and we look forward to coming back soon!

We have stayed at Muses Country Housel for 11 days. Since our arrival the host greeted us nicely with the regional jam and a list, in which the host explained, much of the places and activities we could do in the region. The stay at the hotel has been very nice. The room was nice, in good order and it had a terrace with a great view to the sea. The host has been also very nice, always there to answer our questions and offer guidance about the places we wanted to travel. Zagora itself is a nice place. We really enjoyed the center. It has some ancient trees (some reaching 1000 years old) and great caffes and restaurants. We recommend that you spend time visiting the city by foot so you can see all the places it has to offer. There are also 2 supermarkets with quite a selection for those interested. The closest beach to the hotel is Chorefto. It is both accessible by car (15 m) and by foot (1h 15m). The beach is quite wide and is connected to other beaches to which you can arrive by foot in short time if you parked your car at Chorefto. You can find here a lot of restaurants, some better some worse, but if you follow the guide of the host you will be in for a treat. Some of the biggest beaches we visited are the following beaches: Chorefto, Parisena, Plaka, Papa Nero, Ioannis, Fakistra, Mylopotamos, Ntamouchari. They are all nice and enjoyable. If you don't have enough days to visit the region we would recommend the following locations: • Chorefto beach (15 min by car) • Plaka beach (30-40 min by car) • Mylopotamos (1h 30min by car - easy road access) - great view, unique beach • Fakistra beach (1h 10 min by car - difficult road at the end if you have a low car) - unique beach, is accessible by a 10 min medium difficulty walk from the parking. In Zagora we’ve especially appreciated food and service at Ylien Cafè (for a snack, coffea or a cocktail) and Στου Ψηλού (for a more traditional Greek dinner).

We found the service at some restaurants lacking here and there: unwelcoming staff, missing paper towels, salt, pepper, oil, etc. It was very unusual to come sit at a table and the waiter would ask you what do you want to eat without showing the menu.

Location, facilities, the views and Kosmas’ amazing hospitality! I will definitely return!

Nice location with a nice view, very clean, walking distance to the town center.

The host requires a phone call in order to find the right location. Inconvenient for international travelers without a local phone. I suggest creating a google pin with the parking location to help people find their way without having to call. Also there’s no microwave in the room or anywhere in the hotel.

Everything was fine, the Host was very helpful and polite. Rooms are nice, quite and with great view.

First and foremost: Kosmas, the host, was welcoming, professional, attentive and always available. We checked in late in the day and he was waiting for our arrival with information about the area and a daily program he made for us. The room was lovely, beautiful view from the balcony over the whole valley and the sea. Even after we checked out he gave us advice and help regarding the rest of our vacation. An amazing host and a wonderful place!

The host is great! At the arrival you receive complete information about the area and about the main attraction points. The property is close to taverns (walking distance) and close to great beaches in Pelion (20 min by car).

Lovely stay at this hotel, the hosts where super sweet and the room clean with an amazing view. Would definitely recommend to stay here.

The apartment has an amazing and spacious balcony with a great view of the ocean. The host was super friendly and gave us nice recommendations. There is a lovely Taverna close by!
