The hotel at Corte Borromeo is absolutely stunning. The staff were beyond accommodating. We stayed for a wedding and ended up missing the coach home and the staff came to pick us up, completely outside of their job. No ask was too big. After hours even when the kitchen was closed they made us charcuterie boards having arrived in from a late trip from Bari airport. This is a beautiful place to stay with so much history but completely modernised to make it comfortable for guests. I could not recommend them more and would stay again in a heartbeat!

I cannot complain about a single element

Amazing location in a historic location. The rooftop restaurant was outstanding, deserving of a Michelin star. The hotel itself was ok, the rooms were nothing special.

Rooms were very dark and felt outdated.

The hotel was really nicely renovated in a beautiful old palace. The location is really nice for visiting the city by walk and the room was also amazingly cosy and historical. The breakfast was also really good with lots of options in spite of c19 restrictions. The lady at check-in and check-out were friendly and helpful providing good assistance. The restaurant is also really good and the food is great for a average price. We strongly recommend to try it.

The parking is absolutely a nightmare to reach by car. It is a maze of small and narrow streets, impossible to drive trough. If you chose the parking option, avoid AT ANY COST to go to the hotel first, without checking on the parking route first, otherwise, you end-up in a total drama. Fortunately, the ladies helped us, as it could have turned into a really issue.

Super friendly staff. Beautiful hotel and a great room. very clean. We'd stay again. Great recommendations for restaurants and beaches for which the staff happily made reservations for us.

A minor issue - It wasn't clear up front how to get to the parking (which is a bit of a challenge, but we found it when we plugged the correct address into our GPS).

It was amazing! Beautiful rooms, great breakfast, the best and most helpful staff, top location.

The only thing is the Internet was a bit slow. I know it’s not a normal requirement in Italy, but a coffee and tea with little kettle in the room would be even nicer.
