Excellent location and value of money

It was only 1 block to where my friends condo was located. Breakfast was okay.

The key to our room didn't work. We needed a NASA engineer to help get the TV working. The windows overlooking the ocean were dirty. Couldn't sleep. Every twist and turn produced a horrible squeak in the bed. When I tried to use the bathroom during the night without waking my wife, the bathroom door also squealed loudly. Probably one of the worst rooms I've ever stayed at. I've stayed in rooms in Ecuador that cost $25.00 and were far better managed. I spent $100.00 but I will sure get my monies worth by relating my experiences to all those I know who will be in need of a room in Salinas.

The hotel is pet friendly. The people from the front desk was really kind. We asked them to keep a dog food pouch in the refrigerator and they helped us.

The hotel is situated in front of a very noisy disco that opens until 4 am. The bedroom we got was at 4th level, just in front of that disco. Unfortunately that is not comfortable at all. If the hotel knows that, they should avoid to assign the frontal bedrooms in weekends, or at least ask the guest if he/she has a problem with the noise. At the breakfast time, the waiter ignore us for 10 minutes. Even she went and came back three or four times to the table next to us. I really do not understand why the waiter could not take our order quick.
