Great spot overlooking sunset cliffs!

Wonderful view good location to most things in area…. Place itself was good I wouldn’t say great but definitely served it’s purpose and the price point was fair for a view like that. The area rug didn’t appear to be vacuumed based on stuff I found on it when we got there and the ice maker was frosted over but we just bought a bag of ice to get through our stay.. I would suggest leaving a little coffee for the first morning at least. The bathroom is pretty basic and the tiny powdered soap and shampoo was a little strange but better than nothing I guess if in a bind.. the sheets appeared clean and the beds were comfortable enough..all in all a good stay and we would stay again in the future I would note that the washer and dryer is in the very small garage and you have to open the garage door every time you go in or out of there to do the laundry which takes some strength and patience to deal with… but the place grew on us the longer we were there 😊

The location and view from this property are absolutely amazing! Listening to the waves crashing all night long provided an unmatched atmosphere. We will absolutely be back!

It started out poorly with two issues: we arrive after traveling all day and there is NO bath soap to wash with! No body soap anywhere. There is also NO street parking. Bring a small car to fit in the tight garage. We had a larger Kia and had to manage to squeeze in several times a day; it was a nightmare. Called CS about no soap, they just gave an excuse for the house cleaner. They only left 2 towels, washcloths . I had to wash them and the dryer didn’t work ! Had to hang towels and clothing all over the house. Called customer service again. They said they’d sent someone out . 4 days later someone came and said he’d bring the part for dryer in three days..he never came back. We counted on that and now had to wear dirty clothes home. The oven didn’t work properly ; stayed on Pre-heat forever..no broom to keep floors clean had to ask them to bring one . (They did bring clean towels but didn’t tell us and we just happened to find them 2 days later in a cabinet that was formerly empty .) The bathroom shower curtain and window had mold around it. So, with the exception of the great view and the living/ dining rooms being nice it was not a good place to stay. For the price we expected better attention to detail, better customer service and truthfulness about the parking situation.

We arrived 10 pm to find the 10-digit code did not open the door. We also had a code for the lock box which held a key. The lockbox was hanging open and empty. After standing a cold 1/2 hour on the phone with Vacasa, we were finally given a 4-digit code that worked. Next morning Vacasa called saying the door code must be changed back to 10-digits. I protested but was assured it would work this time. I tested it while still on the phone and it seemed to work. (I realized later that the door hadn’t been locked.) When we went out, we tried the new code to make sure we could get back inside. Guess what? It didn’t work! Another half hour on the phone with Vacasa giving us various 10-digit codes. My daughter saw a light flash on the door keypad after 4 digits so we were sure it would only accept 4. Finally they gave us another 4-digit code. Guess what? It worked! The agent also kept saying there was a key in the lockbox even though we’d said repeatedly the lockbox was broken. And it didn’t stop there … next day when we went out, the door wouldn’t lock behind us! Again, another 1/2 hour on the phone with Vacasa! They finally said they would sent someone out but couldn’t say when. My daughter figured out that if you turn the deadbolt to the right and the door handle to the left and pull, the door would lock! I would have had a total meltdown without her. View stunning. Furniture good except one side of one bed completely saggy. Toilet paper ran out quickly and no extra rolls!

Place was beautiful and such a perfect location to stay.

The view is nice and it's beautiful in the morning. However, there are multiple issues with this property. The most annoying one is not having a proper parking space. It's not easy to find parking in the neighborhood. The house does not have air conditioner or heating, so not very comfortable when temperature is too low or too high. The entry to the house is through narrow lane, which is not very clean. On our arrival, we found that lock key code doesn't work. There wasn't anyone locally to help and it took about an hour to get the issue resolved. Bathroom doesn't have ventilation or exhaust fan. Overall, location is good, but need better maintenance and local support staff to resolve the issues.

Visiting our daughter and didn't want to stay with her in her 1 bedroom apt! Brought a family friend so decided on this option versus a hotel. Family came by, hang out, cooked, enjoyed large tv streaming, ocean view to die for, surfers at low tide, and our favorite friendly SEAGULL who visited every morning for a bite of breakfast. AWESOME VISIT! Will definitely stay again if it's available!!

This property is absolutely perfect and the view is spectacular! Location is perfect, floor plan is perfect, shower water temperature is perfect, comfort is perfect, not a single detail has been overlooked. Our family had the perfect weekend getaway. Management was very responsive with questions. Check in and check out was easy. I’m grateful to have made such great family memories here and we’ll definitely book here again!

First let me tell you about the location of this place. It is only 10mins from mission beach, 15mins from pacific beach. Even though there is only one parking space there is easily enough parking in the surrounding area. Then you walk in to this astonishing view of the Pacific Ocean! I mean the group was just blown away! The sunsets at this place are second to none. Very clean space and plenty room for 5 of us. The neighborhood is nice and we felt secure the whole time. If you need a place to stay in San Diego this is the place!

We had a really good time. Didn't use much in the condo but it was well equipped if we needed.

The view is amazing but the property is quite old. When I arrived, I noticed the ice maker wasn’t working so took out the ice bucket and it was filled with globs of brown sludge. Ice covered the opening so I had to chip out ice. Second, the bathroom window wouldn’t close and couldn’t be fixed, even by the on-site night manager. Last and most importantly, I had no hot water the entire time I was there and was told that it could only be fixed by all new gas pipes to the entire building. I asked for a refund and was only given about 10% of the money I had paid. When I asked (via text) for a contact so we could discuss it, Vacasa cut off communication. All in all, a very disappointing time in my favorite city. Don’t book here unless you just want a view and little else.

The lock on the entrance was confusing to figure out. Not sure if it was broke or if it was meant to be like that but how to actually get the door to unlock was not communicated. Extremely warm in the unit. Unfortunately only the bedrooms have fans so no other way to cool the living area down. Great views but windows weren't very clean so the view was always hazy. Shades on the windows did not all go down. Shower takes a long time to get hot water and the drain doesn't always drain very well. Meant to sleep six but there is no extra bedding besides a comforter for the pull out couch. Otherwise only a 10-15 minute walk to restaurants and shops.

Beautiful views, surfers off the coast! Well decorated. Conveniently close to Sunset Cliffs Trail! Limited hot water in the AM. Private washing machine and dryer in small garage.

The location is fantastic. The apartment is nice. As we look at listings, we notice the furniture. So many places have too few seats or metal chairs around the dining table. The seating is comfortable and plentiful, the beds are very comfortable. One of the primary reasons we chose this property was the view out of the front windows. Unfortunately, the window are so dirty you can barely make out the ocean. We contacted the property owners and they said there was no way to clean the windows. There is no outside seating or beach access so you might as well be blocks from the ocean. The other issue was the lack of hot water. We could not shower before our early flight. Not the way to start the day. We noticed other properties run by the same management company seemed to have similar water issues or hot tubs not hot, etc. Ocean Beach is a fantastic area, unfortunately we overpaid for this location.

Loved the view. Better response times to problems would be helpful. Drain not draining in tub, ice maker makes loud noises, outside light burned out, oven not working. The maintenance man who showed up was very kind and polite. However, due to the drain we couldn’t have showers the last day and a half of our stay.

The waves, the hidden beach (low tide), the surfers morning and afternoons, the dolphins, the feeding pelicans, and the sunsets...all from you living room windows!

Gave this place 5 stars based on the incredible view. We spent hours watching the waves and spectacular sunsets. The apartment was clean and functional, although the kitchen was not well stocked for cooking (for example, there was no dish soap so we had to use shampoo to wash the dishes). The location was great and within easy walking distance to Ocean beath.

Comfortable beds. Convenient location. Tasteful decor. Front windows insured the great view. Need to be washed. Hot water took forever to get.

Parking nonexistent. We paid for a garage, but the garage had a pile of dirt in it and couldn't get a car in. Parking in front of the garage was always taken. The oven did not work and we had to defrost the refrigerator in order to close the door. We really feel we should be given money back. The view was awesome and the pictures online were like advertised. No complaints about the view. Reported to the company - no response.

This property was clean and had amazing views. The listing said we could park a car in the garage but it was full of dirt and we spent a while trying to find street parking. I notified vrbo and I still haven't received any communication other than an automated text that they would get back to me. This is a great property as long as you don't have any problem because good luck on getting a response.

truly loved this oceanside oasis. the full frontal view of the pacific ocean out of the living room was awe inspiring and breathtaking. if I could give it ten stars I would.
