Incredible comfortable spacious place surrounded by nature and with views everywhere of the garden, pond with its fish and frogs, and beyond to the ocean and Ponta Delgada in the distance. Super location for using as a base for the entire island really, and especially for Vila Franca area, Furnas and other central sites.

The house was in a beautiful settings. It was the cleanest accommodation we had in our three-week trip. Owners provided local products to start our stay.

I loved the location and the vast amount of space on the ground floor.

Beautiful house with large windows and amazing views. Plenty of space to hang out and relax. Park-like garden surrounding the house. Farm animals to entertain young children. Host allowed us to have super-early check-in and provided local products and coffee for breakfast. A very warm and welcoming reception!

the house, the grounds, the views- all very beautiful. the house is extremely spacious and we enjoyed to cook and bbq. its like staying in a real house, not just a vacation rental.
there is no double bed, its two single beds paired together and they were really uncomfortable. the shower is also very old.

Very sweet welcome basket with tea, coffee, butter, cheese, bread, lunch meat, eggs, milk, and local banana. Excellent location. Beautiful views.

Great facility, setting, views, groomed property. Host was helpful and gracious. A fortune in complimentary treats awaits your arrival. Enjoy them on your private porch while watching the Atlantic.
This is humid country and next to an active dairy feed lot which means lots of flies. No A.C. and no sceens on doors. Bring a mata-moscas and use it! Use the porch as much as possible, too. Gated property seems unnecessary and problematic to exit at checkout w/o the signaler which you've relinquished!

Could have used ceiling fans in the bedrooms.

The grounds were absolutely beautiful. The house was comfortable. We enjoyed the terrace every night and morning. The property was absolutely perfect for us. Thank you!

There are three separate properties on premises and it may not be super clear initially which one you are booking so pay close attention. Stayed at the smallest one which is plenty big to accommodate our family of 5. Amazing views from the porch. There is a large garden where you can walk around. Lots of farm animals nearby. Everything you may need is provided (washer/dryer, towels, etc).
If you are a light sleeper, pack some earplugs because some animals can get noisy in early morning hours. Also bring something against mosquitoes - even though we kept our windows shut they still found a way to get in somehow. Those are `European` mosquitoes - loud and big, so fairly easy to spot and eliminate.

We loved everything about our stay. The welcome basket of local food was delicious, the accommodations were spacious and comfortable, the animals were entertaining and the location was perfect.
Hot water was limited, but that’s completely expected. Otherwise it was perfect.

we liked absolutely everything!!! house is amazing, with billiard table, huge living room and beautiful garden. Hosts were amazing, we even got some fresh cheese and fruit, tea and coffee!
