Location was perfect The accommodation was very clean Easy to collect keys

Very basic

The room was big and clean in a great location. You also have a little private terrace in front which is great. For us, the fact that we picked up the keys from a hotel reception not far from the accommodation was great because that meant we did not have to worry about arriving late in the night and arranging pick-up in a very busy period. Hotel has paid parking spaces available.

For us, everything was great.

The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was lovely. The balcony door onto the road opened and we had good ventilation. the window opened and that also helped with ventilation. The curtains provided enough privacy. We also liked the fact that the cleaners cleaned our room every day.

We didn't like the fact that we couldn't open the patio door next to the shower. There was no key available to open the door, and that meant we didn't have enough ventilation in the bathroom. Also, we expected a kitchen. It was not clear when we booked which apartment had the kitchen and as it was called Casa del Sol, we expected a kitchen (or kitchenette) with the name 'casa' in the description. Maybe you could re-name the accomodation.... "Habitacion del Sol"

The location was extremely central. Close to the restaurants and bars yet quiet.

It was the worst place we have ever stayed in. The place smelled like fish. Grease marks all over the kitchen doors. Hair in the bed. Rusted, broken and dislodged electrical sockets. Lights don't work. Cold water on the last day (must run on solar). Stained and old tatty furniture. Really hard mattresses. Mop buckets with air conditioning overflow on the terrace (mosquito breeding ground). THE PHOTOS ON BCOM.DO NOT CORRECTLY REPRESENT THE PROPERTY. Then to add insult to injury, the service attention and response we received upon check out was appalling. It was shameful. Really shameful. I would definitely NOT RECOMMEND. It is daylight Robbery.

I am certain it is a nice property but we couldn’t like it or dislike like it….we couldn’t even get there! It is not accessible by car at all, not even to drop off your luggage before you must go park at a considerable distance from the property. I would strongly suggest that anyone in an older age group like ourselves Seriously check it out with the host before booking because this fact is not clearly explained on the site.

We really liked the apartment because not only was it much bigger than we expected but all the facilities were very modern and very clean, the apartment was S1 which meant we were located on the ground floor, with access to the street and 2 mins walk to the beautiful Zahara beach. A bonus all bars & restaurants were within easy access to the apartment. Outside the apartment we had a terrace. The keys to the apartment were at the Gran Sol hotel, 5 minutes walk away through the back streets, where we found the staff friendly and very helpful. The apartment had excellent air conditioning and we loved the walk in shower. The photos on booking.com do not do it justice, it is definitely nothing like they display, its beautiful inside and all decorated in white. We loved our stay at Zahara de los Atunes and would return again.

Noise on the street, as some bars very close, but after midnight it went quiet. We would have liked a table/chairs on the terrace.

Just location

The locker of our room was broken. We were struggling to open it. And no one told us that to collect the keys we had to go to another hotel, so in the heat with the luggage’s it wasn’t really fun.
