Loved the house, the neighborhood and the proximity to downtown as well as hiking and biking destinations

We really enjoyed our long weekend in Brevard! 4 of 5 of our daughters joined us to watch our son play Nado baseball. We started each day on the front porch planning the day - Pisgah National Forest hikes in the morning and baseball in the afternoons. The cottage was perfectly located for everything we wanted to do!

This house is in a terrific location that is beside a public pool and large community playground. Lots of walkers, joggers, and dog walkers in this quiet, shady neighborhood. You can walk to downtown, or it is a super short drive. Beware that the pool is currently only open on weekends and we never got to use it during our stay, so check the website for Franklin Park and Pool. The house was very clean and comfortable. The full kitchen is a great feature, and there is a huge grocery store nearby. The non-stick pans were terrible, so we did not use those. There is a nice Weber charcoal grill in the backyard. The bath towels were the best I've ever used in a rental home and I want to buy some just like them for my house! The owner responded within minutes to my question about the pool, and the owners live next door so it should not be a problem if you have questions. We would stay here again.

We spent most mornings and evenings playing on the screened in porch or front yard. We walked downtown almost every day for a meal or activity. Gorges State Park, DuPont State Forest, and the Pisgah National Forest are all a short drive away. We loved this house and hope to come back.

We stayed here to check out the area for possible places to move. The town is nice and quiet and our son loved playing on the playground right across the street. There’s lots of cute shops to check out in Downtown (which you can walk to from the house). The house is cute, with tasteful decorations. Pisgah forest is only about a 10 minute drive and there are tons of hikes and waterfalls. 10/10 recommend.

Location is great, within walking distance of downtown. The abundance of white squirrels around the park next door is a plus.

The cottage was very clean, spacious and within walking distance to downtown Brevard. Also an excellent location for hiking at DuPont, Gorges and Pisgah NF. Robert was very responsive to questions. We would definitely stay again.

Being our first VRBO, I was nervous. But our hosts were amazing and the rental was exactly what we needed and wanted!!

This is such a cute little house. We loved the front porch swing and the park across the street most. The owner also allowed us to stay until 4:00 on our checkout day so that we could enjoy Easter with our two small children. We would definitely stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this home close to the Pisgah Forest where we did some amazing hikes. It was also nice to be walking distance to downtown Brevard. Thank you to Robert and Jane for having everything in your home that a visitor could need, for welcoming our dog, and for making sure that everything was so clean. You really go above and beyond!

This property was even better than we expected. The property we wanted to stay in was not available in the beginning of the week so we decided to stay in downtown Brevard for the first part of the week. We were not disappointed. We LOVED it. The house was spotless. The kitchen had everything we needed. The neighborhood was perfect for evening walks. The front porch was charming and great for relaxing. We would have been happy to stay for the entire week. The owner is very friendly and was easy to communicate with. We will be back!!

A very cute house in a great neighborhood, with instant access to a huge playground for the kids. A very short walk to downtown, and an easy drive to all of your favorite Brevard-y activities - hiking, biking, brewering.

House is in a great location so close to downtown and next to Franklin Park. We had a great time! We loved the coziness of the gas fireplace and the cozy cottage feel. Would recommend this to any one or two family group for its convenience, cleanliness and overall great experience with this rental!

Just what we were looking for this trip. We've often stayed in mountain cabins with terrific views, but wanted to change things up and spend a little more time around town, and to use as base camp for some exploration. This place fit the bill for me and my wife.

Love this house and location had a great stay as usual easy walk to downtown park across the street great place to walk the dogs will probably be returning again next year. Robert and Jane are great hosts

We really enjoyed our stay at this home. The house was conveniently located just a few blocks away from downtown Brevard. Although at night, this neighborhood was so quiet if you closed your eyes you would think you were at a cabin alone on a mountain. The house itself was great. It looks like the owners have put in some recent upgrades that make the house a great place to stay while still having some great character. We would definitely stay here again the next time we are in town and would recommend this home to any of our friends and family.

This is our second time staying in this property and it keeps getting better. A charming cottage and with a newly updated kitchen and everything you need for a perfect stay. The yard is beautifully manicured and we were a short walk away from town, the pool and a park.
