Exceptionally clean, had everything we needed - nothing more, nothing less. Kitchen was well equipped (though we didn’t do much cooking), location is stunning - with the coastal walk on your doorstep as well as Ventnor Botanical Gardens and a lovely quiet beach (down some steep steps). Allocated parking space for all 3 cottages on the grounds was a nice touch. Bedroom is a good size with wardrobe and bedside tables. Kitchen is little but has what you need. Shower room (off the kitchen) is very small but perfectly functional. Living room is in the conservatory so gets hot during the day and the sofa is quite small and firm arms - not quite comfortable enough to ‘lounge’ on but we didn’t spend much time inside as we had lovely weather all week. Garden area is lovely - great little sun trap and secure enough to keep our Newfoundland puppy safe and contained. Garden table and chairs with umbrella were used every day - would have loved a sun lounger too! Owners were kind enough to bring over a paddling pool for the puppy too, which was a lovely gesture and much appreciated. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend. Hopefully we’ll be back again soon!

The shower leaked a little bit under the door closure, making the bath mat really soaked each time we showered.

KItchen too small, bathroom too small could get off toilet without knocking into the sink, couldn't even dry yourself outside of the shower as knocked into the sink. bedroom way too hot as a very tiny window wouldn't let air into the room, staircase too steep. Hot old conservatory room, like an oven, needs a new roof, uncomfortable sofa and out side seats very uncomfortable, had to use own deckchairs. Everywhere could do with a good clean, and definately a new duvet, it looked dirty.

Location - very close to the coastal path and very quiet (we were the only guests).

The wonderful weather. The location gave easy access to the coastal path and several coves. Also near to the Ventnor Botanical Gardens. The next door units were empty so no noise issues. A good place to relax.

The owners weren’t there to meet us and no Insteon where the key was. As no mobile signal it could have been an issue. Luckily we found the key. All was explained the following day. The owners had mistakenly thought we were arriving a day later. Lack of reliable WiFi and mobile signal made us realise how often we relied on it for planning trips.
