Near to city centre Clean

The hotel is well located on the waterfront within east walking distance of the town and we had a great meal at a bar just a few steps away. Friendly staff and no problem parking. The room was spotless and had lots of space.

There were two beds in the room, a double and a single. The single was really comfortable, the double was quite uncomfortable as it dipped in the middle.

Very good hotel, all you need.

Breakfast was lovely could have been a bit hotter . Unfortunately first morning while eating breakfast one of the lovely girls that was on duty came to clean table beside us which she was using a spray to clean think she could have waited until we where done . Only little thing.

the staff were so so lovely and accommodating! they couldn’t do enough to make our stay more comfortable! The hotel was so clean and in an great location.

Everything was great about our stay. One problem was the car parking.need to make the car park bigger and spaces available for people staying.

A hotel that calls itself boutique has to offer something extra to the usual, the Fitzwilton is a 3 star hotel offering none of the little touches you would expect, choice of tea and coffee in the rooms, a decent hairdryer with a mirror above rather than to the side, double glazing that actually works. The rooms at the front are very noisy with limited views of the river, if you have a quieter rear room you have a wonderful view of the parking area often full of puddles. Breakfast was standard for a 3 star hotel, nothing they offered made it stand out. The beds were ok the tv a little on the small side. we started of in the front on the 2nd floor but due to the noise of traffic had to move to a rear room on the 4th. Which was not of the same style or standard. There is also likely to be noise over the next few years as property to the side and rear will be undergoing refurbishment as they are vacant at present. But the Ukrainians I met there seemed quite happy.

It was a nice hotel, for a family it would be ideal.
