Die Lage war sehr schön. Es war ruhig.

1. Geruch aus der Lüftung 2. Sauberkeit 3. Sauna fiel aus 4. fehlende Gastfreundlichkeit Die Badezimmer-Lüftung verbreitete einen unangenehmen Geruch. Im TV-Schrank befand sich eine halbvolle Chipstüte und weiterer Müll vom Gast vorher. Als ich das beim Auschecken kritisierte, erhielt ich den Vorwurf, warum ich das nicht früher beanstandet hatte, damit es gereinigt werden konnte. Ein einfaches „Das tut uns leid und hätte nicht passieren dürfen!“ hätte ich als gastfreundlicher Empfunden. Die Sauna war leider ausgefallen, was leider den geplanten Wellness-Aufenthalt trübte. Auch dazu erhielt ich statt „Das tut uns leid!“ ein saloppes „Da steckt man nicht drin!“ Der Wellnessbereich war der eigentliche Grund dieses Hotel zu buchen, da wir damit gerechnet hatten, einen kurzen Winterurlaub (1 Übernachtung) ohne Schnee zu haben.

The rooms were big and spacious. The breakfast was excellent and fresh. The location was great.

The big stains on the carpet made the room look like it was not cleaned. Also we had a family room and the stove was not cleaned. When entering the room it was a strong burned smell in the room coming from the stove.

Great place to be with families. Surrounded by beautiful valleys and hills. Quiet and peaceful. The hotel has a kids play room, swimming pool, dinner buffet and great breakfast to offer. The Winterberg centrum is 25kms (around 30mins drive) from the hotel. The staff were polite and courteous.

Dessert Options in the Sunday dinner menu were minimal. May be they did so since the crowd was less. Receptionist on the day of arrival didn't speak or understand English; although this isn't an issue as Google translate helps. Again not an issue with the hotel but the roads are pitch dark at night, so make sure you plan your roadtrips from a safety POV

Alles war super!

We stayed just for one night but the hotel had everything we needed for a family of four. The room size is excellent with a little fridge and kitchen corner. Beds are super comfortable and the view from the balcony is great. It is very quiet overall with amazing indoor pool and sauna facilities included in the price. The pool was open until 23:00! Breakfast was lovely and varied. We will be back.

I have to say if you decide to eat dinner at the hotel the deal is not great and the selection of meals is very limited.

nice room but we had room from the site where they build houses so from early morning noises from machines, we heared also people coming in and out the hotel and it was extrimely hot in a room

This hotel is correct but has none of the “little extras”. It was clean and has what you need. Our room was ok with a separate bedroom, small living room, sleeping area for the kids, a fridge and stove and a tiny bathroom. The location is just outside the little village, it’s very quite. The breakfast was good.

It’s a bit run down in a few places. When we asked if the staff could recommend a restaurant in the village we were told that the hotel has a restaurant so they don’t give any other recommendations…

The rooms are spacious and have an exceptional view. The food was excellent, the staff friendly and the pool and facilities neat and clean. The countryside is phenomenal. Definitely going back for a longer stay.

Breakfast was ok and the room was clean. However I don’t like carpets on the floor in the room. Notcreally hygienic and for people with allergy not comfortable. We als had dinner in the hotel. 30 euro per person incl one drink. To be honest very bad dinner. Really to be checked.

3rd time in the hotel...Ideal for families, spacious and comfortable room, excellent breakfast and dinner, nice pool and sauna, friendly staff. Great location - short drive to willingen with plenty of family activities.

10€ for access to the kitchenette, you have to ask extra for a kettle.
