Good hotel close to downtown, with a place to park the bike and OK breakfast

I didn't liked the coffee. But beside this everything was great.

Very friendly staff, breakfast is good, nothing special, but what you expect from a large hotel. The room was very clean and I absolutely loved the water pressure in the shower. Location is superb!

We mentioned that we were travelling with a dog and the room was really on the small side. Especially when travelling with a large dog. If one sits behind the desk, the other can't easily walk to the other side of the room because of the bed.

The Location is very good, as it is only a short walk to the city centre. The room was a bit overheated when we got in, but opening the windows and letting some fresh air in, took care of that very quickly. It was a nice, quite room. Breakfast offered a very good selection of local and international food. We appreciated the parking available next to the hotel. The Main river is a short walk away from the hotel, which provided a wonderful exercise area for us and our dog.

We had a few items that we would have liked to deposit in the room's safe, however, the safe was locked from the previous guest. When we reported this at reception, we just got a shoulder shrug and an "oh". No offer was made to unlock the safe. Only when we reported it again at check out the next morning, to different staff, were we told "Thanks for telling us; we'll look into it right away".

The room had carpet which I like, it made it really cozy. It also had a mini fridge good for keeping water cold. The breakfast was really good, the only problem was that due to Covid19 there was no buffet.

The room floor was creaky, and it made sound when I walked on it, the floor on the hallway was also a bit creaky which made it annoying, specially when someone was walking outside late at night. The toilet wouldn't flush fully, you should have tried several times to make it work.

Although the reception (being renovated now) is crapes, and the corridors a labyrinth, the double room was very spacious, above average, and very modern in a new-German style. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom clean, modern and spacious. The breakfast is old school German, so awesome! One of the best during my stay in Europe. There is some free parking, also rare. The bar is very small, but being renovated and enlarged right now. So future travelers should expect a decent size. My son got a single room with a skinny bed, but he was satisfied with it like I was.

Great location and staff. Very quirky hotel and walking distance from river and restaurants. Great stay and will be back.

Couple of things, bed was squeaky and the parking was tight but did have parking spaces about 50m away.

Location was perfect for me, right next to the bridge. Great to have parking on site.

I didn't like the shower which couldn't be hung on the wall, you have to hold it while you are showering. Staff wasn't especially friendly when we checked in.
