The room was clean and tidy. It had a balcony that was ok. The view over the area was good.

The member of staff who greeted us was to say the least off hand. We arrived on a Sunday and the place was very busy and parking was a long way off. Once the crowds had gone we could park near the hotel. The restaurant was not open Sunday and everything in the town shut down once the day trippers had gone

So close to the centre and inside the city wall. Excellent value secure car parking. Beautiful views from our balcony. Great value menu del dia in the first floor restaurant.

Unfortunate that hotel restaurant not open for breakfast.

The staff was not very friendly (especially at the restaurant).

The Receptionist was very unhelpful. We wanted some food after a long journey so went to the cafe. The waitress misunderstood and told us they were closed (the kitchen had closed for meals but snacks were still available) The waitress went to Reception and spoke to them in Spanish. Rather than asking us the Receptionist just said 'closed'. We returned to the room unable to get anything to eat and drink. I wrote an email of complaint. The hotel replied at 11.25 accusing us of making it up and saying that if we ordered by 11.30 we could have some food. We did not see the email that quickly! Had the Receptionist been doing her job this whole situation could have been avoided. To make matters worse the same Receptionist did our check out and did not even offer an apology for us going hungry. Unbelievable!

Comfortable room, would stay have stayed again had it not been for the very poor service by Reception

Excellent room, spotlessly clean. Plenty of choice on the menu del dia in the restaurant at night.

Near to the sights, good view at 2. floor.

No air conditioning at hot summer but there is a ceiling fan available, so it was bearable.

Simple, inexpensive breakfast - great coffee. Lovely views. Short walk to cites. **hotel Don Rey Jaime had excellent, reasonable dinner

Restaurant was not open on Sunday night for dinner - this was a requirement for booking this hotel, as we had a long drive. Hotel staff gave us a map & said their are restaurants all around but didn't know which were open. If your restaurant is closed, you should be able to give assistance in finding one that is open.

We chose this hotel over another because of the photos, however it turns out that these were a little misleading. The place is tired and not nearly as nice as it’s looks in photos.

The stay was very good, excellent location next to the gate into the old town. There are free parking spaces along the wall. The room and the bathroom were clean and fully equipped. We had lunch and breakfast in the hotel, everything was good and the price as well.

Location and views are very good.

Staff that received us was a bit stressful, the bar downstairs had good food but was a bit odd too. Rooms were what to expect from a 2star hotel.
