This was a very nice cabin. Everything was set up well and was very clean. We had a fire at the fire ring one night, saw some deer that were virtually tame, enjoyed watching the chipmunks and squirrels, and relaxed around the cabin when we weren't busy in Old Forge.

This was our fourth stay at this property and it was another amazing stay. The home is just beautiful and perfect for our family. We also have family that stays in the nearby campground when we come to town and this home has plenty of space for us to host them for meals and playing games. The location is perfect because you are surrounded by woods but only a minute from town.Jody and Brian are so kind and helpful and this is definitely our home away from home.

What a fantastic time I had celebrating my 70th birthday at this perfect “cozy retreat”! Exceptionally clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. All you need to bring is food! PS…our 2 labs loved it too!

We had a great week away in our favorite area to visit. The cabin was cozy with a giant kitchen and plenty of cookware that we made food all week. The boys lived the bunk beds and we enjoyed the layout of the cabin so the sleeping was not disturbed by laundry.Great place to stay that is well maintained

We attended a family reunion in Inlet and this was the perfect spot for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely secluded camp in Old Forge. The cabin was comfortable for our family for the week. The kitchen had everything we needed for our trip.
We appreciated Jody's quick responses to questions. But most of all, the beds were comfortable for our backs. That was wonderful.
I highly recommend this property!!!!

This property is amazing. Great log cabin that is spacious and affordable. Plenty of land for small hiking with kids or dogs and fire pit area. Another bonus is the porch sitting up high and relaxing views. Great access to Trail 4 for hiking and a short walk to the water on Hollywood.

We had a great vacation at this rental! The owner was helpful. The kitchen is spacious! The deck was perfect to hangout on after the kids went to bed. The location was a 5 minute ride into town and close to inlet. Will stay again !!

We had an excellent stay at this property in Old Forge, NY. The property is extremely well maintained and clean. The owners, especially Jody, were fantastic in their communications before, during, and after. We will definitely be booking again!

Jodi was amazing through COVID and all the changes with dates for our stay. This is a spectacular home and location. Private beach, walking trails, town, boat launch and so many other attractions at a fingers touch! OR, just sit back and relax in the tranquility provided right at home😊 recommend to all. We had the best time. Your home was so spacious and comfortable. Loved the layout of the house and the huge eat in kitchen. My kids loved the living room furniture, they would recline and instantly fall asleep. We would definitely recommend this house to friends. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Fabulous Experience!
This Adirondack cabin is beautiful!! It’s clean, spacious, cozy, well-stocked and includes all modern appliances. I love the Adirondack decor ❤️ We made many meals in the kitchen and loved sitting around the island to eat, drink coffee and play board games. The proximity to Old Forge is so convenient! Jody is very easy to communicate with and a wonderful host. I can’t say enough good things about this cabin!

You know when you need a vacation so bad, but you’re trying to meter your expectations to minimize the disappointment? Absolutely no need for that with this property! Every detail exceeded our expectations in a wonderful way. Impeccably clean, very well stocked home and easy layout for relaxing. The whole family is looking forward to returning!

Gateway to the Necessary Getaway
Close to town, gorgeous property with lots of options to either relax or head out and explore. Perfect to escape the house after bunkering down. Will be returning next fall to enjoy the gorgeous scenary as this looks to be the ideal spot.

Beautiful home with all of the comforts!
We enjoyed the front porch and appreciated the gate at the top of the stairs which made it safe for the little one! Our time by the campfire was fun and relaxing! The beach is a few miles away. We had a great stay!

Home Away From Home
This was our second stay at this property, and will definitely not be our last. It is so comfortable and enjoyable for our entire family, including our dogs. Everything was clean and ready for us when we checked in. We enjoyed the firepit and the many surrounding activities. One thing I absolutely love about the location of this property is that that you are incredibly close to downtown Old Forge, but you feel like you are in the middle of the woods. Thank you to Jody and Brian for sharing their beautiful property with us again!

Great Stay
We were thrilled with the cabin and property; very clean, nicely decorated, with a well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. We played games, watched Netflix, kayaked, hiked and the kids swam at the beach. We grilled (suggest the grill brush be replaced), and enjoyed evening campfires and s’mores with the grandchildren. Thanks Brian and Jody for sharing your lovely mountain retreat with us!
