The location and the views. Shoot out to the ladies of the cleaning crew, they were very efficient and cleaned the apartment thoroughly and would provide new towels every day.

I don’t understand all the positive reviews this apartment complex has gathered in the past. These positive reviews led me to book it for my one-week vacation in Pollença and I’ve been very disappointed. To start with, the apartment is minuscule. They advertise it like it can fit 4 people and it does not even fit 1 person (literally, the kitchen doesn’t even fit one person. You can barely cook). Second, the kitchen was missing a lot of appliances, and those that were there had really bad quality. I was never successful in boiling water in the stove (it did not heat properly). Third, attached to the apartment complex, in the ground floor, there is a supermarket open til 12 am that completely breaks the view of facade of the building. Obviously, this supermarket does not show in the pictures posted here. The couch was the weirdest couch I’ve ever seen (no pillows, hard like a rock, no cover). The bathroom was missing shampoo, shower gel, and hand soap (the containers were there but empty, and never replenished during my 7-day stay). The managers of this place obviously know about all of this and still charge you an insane amount of money to be here. Not worth the price.

Cleanliness

Although a small and very basic accommodation, the Bellamar was simply wonderful. Spotlessly clean (I witnessed the cleaners at work and wow they clean well… even wiped all the legs on the chairs on our balcony!), clean towels always available, beach towels provided, staff very friendly & helpful, comfy beds… even the sofa beds were comfy and suitable for our 2 16 year olds. Even though there is no pool bar there is a door directly from the pool into the attached shop which sells everything you’d need. Absolutely perfect location, on the beach & close to shops, bars, restaurants with a 10 min walk to the marina. Always more than enough sun loungers which are good quality and comfy. Perfect stay and I’d 100% stay here again.

Nothing, it exceeded my expectations

The staff were very welcoming, polite, helpful and friendly from check in until departure. The apartments are in a great location for the beach and just a short walk into the town. It was very clean throughout. Many thanks to Mark and Lau 😃 We appreciated your friendliness and help, thank you 😃😃

Closeness to beach and size of apartment

The management were extremely attentative and accomadating. It was important to them that you were happy. Super shower, aircon, views, proximity to the beach A1. Spar directly underneath a big plus. To top it off they offered late check out as it was possible. Management have plans to update kitchens and doors. If I return to PP I will be staying there and have no reservations in reccommending this accomadations.

Nitpicking because it was only an issue once but walls/ceilings are a little thin so a noisy neighbour can impose, but I think this is true of most apartment blocks!

Location was excellent with great views

The kitchen was tiny and light shone into the apartment all through the night through the kitchen window. The sofas are very uncomfortable to try to sit on. The beds are very hard. Cleaning was erratic and we constantly had to talk to the staff on reception about getting bins emptied & the apartment cleaned. We were there for 8 days. The cleaning is contracted out to a private contractor.

The location was amazing. The apartment was very clean and tidy. Lau, the manager was very helpful and accommodating. Mark was also very good. Whatever we requested, they met our needs.

Tony the manager on checkin was extremely helpful and welcoming, similarly Emma was very helpful in giving us local information and assistimg us with travel arrangements - they both couldnt have been more helpful

Friendly, professional reception staff. We have been coming to these apartments for nearly 30 years. but standards have deteriorated alarmingly and following a very disappointing stay in May 2022 where we raised numerous concerns with the owners we visited again in September 2022. There have been some improvements, and, in particular, enhanced cleaning, more frequent linen changes, staffed reception and additional crockery and cutlery was all welcome. As always, the location is unsurpassed by few premises and the quiet, clean pool area is great for couples.

The apartments need refurbished as they are tired, dingy and smell of damp. Appliances, crockery, towels, bed linen, furniture all needs replaced. The pool area needs new pool, beds and the garden area tidied.

The proximity of the beach and easy walking distance to restaurants and town is a bonus. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Fresh linens and towels supplied regularly, the pool, although somewhat dated is cleaned regularly and is a good size. Beds comfortable.

The property is in need of renovation, understandably as we are just coming out of Covid. The effects of two years of restrictions and lockdown have clearly made renovation difficult, probably also from a financial point of view. Wifi very hit and miss and the nightly loud music from the massive hotel behind the property was irritating, but due to the location of our apartment we probably experienced it worse than others.

The two managers Tony and Emma were lovely and always on hand to help. The facilities were great and everything was kept to a high clean standard. The pool was lovely and area around it is very well mantained. There are plenty of sun loungers and previous guests had left rubber rings etc which were available to use. The air conditioning worked well in the apartment however i want to note there isnt air con in the bedroom but the cold air did go into our bedroom from the living room. The staff cleaned the apartments 3 times when we were there for 10 nights which we were more than happy with. The Bellamar itself was always kept really clean. There are restaurants close by and a spar. The beach is directly opposite the hotel. The Pine Walk and main square for restaurants is about a 15min walk away. We have been visiting Puerto Pollensa for over 10 years and we were really happy with this apartment. We just wish they had a 2 bed apartment as our son is outgrowing sleeping on a sofa bed in the living room however he did say this one was very comfortable. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The pillows weren't great and it would of been good to have a toaster. We had a ground floor apartment one from the back which suited us well however the front ground floor would not be great with the banging of the gate.

The location was fantastic. It was very clean and it did have everything we needed although we didn’t cook. Cleaners came in every couple of days and changed towels and cleaned. Staff were very helpful.

It was a bit tired and dated. The pool was okay but very warm and we didn’t spend much time there.

The location was perfect the apartment was a good size and air con was just correct. Maybe a little tired and in need of an update but all working and only one minute walk from the beach is just what we wanted. i would have loved a sea view but we were round the back however it was a nice cool balcony. The hosts were helpful and friendly and I would reccommend this place. however the safe would not fit my lap top. The hosts arranged the taxi it is is 80 euros from the airport. All in all a lovely holiday loads of bars and restaurants and lovely flat walking.

The location is amazing. Right opposite an amazing beach. We really enjoyed the stay. I would like to thank Emma on reception for looking after us so we’ll! A really friendly place to stay. It’s also very good value for money.

Perfect location right in front of the beach, shops and restaurants. A short walk to the port for daily boat trips. The staffs are very helpful and friendly.

The room and furnitures definitely need some refurbish. Everything outdated, the two sofas & the air conditioning unit in the living really worn out.
