A peaceful cottage stay, a lovely big backyard for kids, and walking distance to the beach. Cottage well set up for families.

Great spot to stay - nice and quiet area. We were visiting to see our son graduate from Navy recruit school and it was a perfect location for this ☺️

We came down for our son’s graduation at HMAS Cerberus and chose this accommodation because of its close proximity to the base. We weren’t sure what to expect but the house was perfect- and in such a beautiful area within walking distance to the beach. Our host was very gracious and I would definitely recommend She-Oak Cottage.

Our mixed group of Grandparents, parents, 2 kids, & dog, all enjoyed ours 4 nights @ "Sheoaks of Somers".
A comfortable, scrupulously clean home set in the most delightful native gardens in both front & large back yards which also encourages birds, & is enjoyable for all including kids, fur kids.
Meals outside are easily enjoyed in the very well set up Outdoor covered, BBQ area, especially at sunset & later to view the night sky!
Pleasant walk to & on the beach, lovely area, friendly people.

This was a lovely house in a small town with plenty of room for couples or families. It's nearby to a beach - which is probably better for a walk than a swim. There is a spacious back yard with an undercover outdoor area and a functional and roomy kitchen with plenty of utensils etc. Our stay was only for two nights and we were out for most of the time, but for those wanting a relaxing and comfortable place to stay on Mornington Peninsula I'd recommend this property for consideration.

She-oak cottage was comfortable, everything we needed was provided, kids loved the huge lawn and we all enjoyed the garden and outdoor covered dining area as an additional space. Will definitely come back. And all in beautiful Somers!!

Amazing back and front yard to watch the bird life. We were lucky to be there when the frangipani had bloomed so the smell in the air was just beautiful.
Lit the fire, pressed play on the cd and we were immediately relaxed.

Perfect getaway to relax and go for long walks
Had a fabulous few days at She Oak Cottage. Lovely garden area and warm cosy fireplace. Met all our needs - to have a relaxing few days away and walk along the beach and walking tracks

Beach getaway
We had a lovely stay at Somers. The house has everything you need for a great summer break. A lovely grassy backyard with pergola to sit under. There is a local beach to walk along, but swimming beach is a 5 min drive or 25 min walk away. Dog friendly back yard and lots of lovely native birds and garden.

Great spot in a quiet street & surrounding area. Perfect for exploring the Peninsula. House was clean & tidy. Great to have board games & books provided. Had everything you needed except a dishwasher but that’s all good!

Great outdoor area, everything we needed was there, comfy house, clean and very quiet.
Can't wait to get back there. Walking to the beach was great, being a leash free beach for the dog even better.

The ideal family holiday house for a beach holiday in Somers
Thanks to Monica who welcomed us with a lovely card and chocolates which my family greatly appreciated! The house was ideal for our family of five, comfy beds and plenty of storage space. Perfectly working amenities and an outstanding backyard. We loved the patio and entertaining area for bbqs and relaxing with the sounds of the local birds! Close to the beaches and shops. Great bike trails. Resident koala bonus feature!! Loved it.

Host was lovely and quick to respond to messages. House was clean and well presented with essentials available. Close to the beach with incredible outdoor area! Stayed cool on hot summer days. Loved staying here, will definitely be back!
