The location is fine as it was close to the Malecon and opposite a modern shopping area/mall.

Our room had to be with air conditioning so cold it was like a freezer otherwise the room filled with condensation and the floor was coated with a layer of water. When I reported at reception we were offered towels to mop up!

no bath rug, the shower and sink where somewhat clogged. water drained very slowly.

Location, was simply exceptional. Walking distance from a mall and also the beach, other places were just a 10 minutes drive tops.

I was drawn in by the idea of having a fridge and kitchen to cook something if I wanted. Now, I understand there's an extra charge for renting kitchen pans etc - I'm fine with that. However, it turns out that even when the building has these huge ads of them filling your fridge with vegetables and food (at an extra charge and for you to cook them on your own), for some reason Coatzacoalcos was not elegible. What? That was the whole reason for me not choosing another hotel... The ability of having a fridge and me calling the front desk to ask for a full fridge of food and me paying with my credit card from my bed. On top of everything, staff was somewhat distant/distracted, the front desk closes at night so I have no clue how or what's the procedure if I wanted to check in at 1 in the morning or if something happens and I need help at that time (again, having a toddler is hard work and the last thing I want to know is that I'm not getting staff help for something about the hotel facilities overnight) and the room was not what I'd call clean (I have pictures to prove it), beds were not comfortable at all, it didn't have an iron nor hair drier. Heck, even in the parking lot was full of trash dump trucks which kind of smelled... My overall experience here was not good, I'm not booking in any extended suites ever again. Might as well just fly it next time with the "Wind-Bee-and-Bee" or just any other normal hotel.

It was clean, the room was large and bright. It was a ten minute walk to the beach.

It was way out in the suburbs. Next to Forum, a large modern mall.
