The location and hospitality was excellent. Breakfast was outstanding with a large range of options. The hostess kindly put a kettle in lour room to keep medications cool.
We were very happy and well looked after. Thankyou
We were not expecting the number of stairs but it was good exercise all the same.

Breakfast was excellent, rooms very good, location excellent, within walking distance to eating places and plenty of choice, plenty to do and lots of lovely walks with great views

I had an emergency when I got there and the host was so friendly and helpful, she sorted my emergency,
Breakfast was outstanding just good quality food. The natural yoghurt was beautiful.
The location was perfect, backed into a river with a bridge to go through to a nice open park. Wasn’t too far the Matlock baths for all the fun too.

Overall the property was very nice. Extra points for the lovely breakfast. The room was very comfortable and cozy. Location was also very good as it was pretty close to Matlock Town Centre.

Great host, Great Breakfast and Great location!
This is in no way a negative but the room could’ve been a little warmer. Possibly the radiator might need bleeding? We were at the top and had an extra oil filled heater to help. the extreme temperatures haven’t helped but as mentioned it’s not a negative and we had a nice stay.

Breakfast great and a lovely location, short walk from Train station and close to Town and a very nice area to walk around and visit, good Bus service too

Very clean and ideally situated in a quiet location with off road parking. Close to restaurants and bars in the town centre. Excellent cooked breakfast using local produce with ample choice to suit everyone.

The host was very friendly and the breakfast was lovely. Great location for travelling around the local area. Bottled water and chocolate biscuits in the room were a nice touch.

Cedar House is an excellent, quiet, peaceful place to stay. The surrounding area is very scenic with lots to do and see. The room we had was very clean, tidy and suited our needs very well. The breakfasts we had were really tasty and filling and there was a great selection. The owner is very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. She was attentive and offered help on the local area and its attractions. We enjoyed our stay there immensely and would recommend it to anyone.
There is nothing that I could say I didn't like about Cedar House when we stayed. No problems or dislikes.

Clean, comfortable, home from home. Every little attention to detail was made, amazing breakfast and attentive hosts. The bed was the most comfiest bed we have ever slept in. We really didn’t want to leave and we will definitely be back.
