My partner and I had booked Kommeno Bella Vista as a place to relax during our last day in Corfu, as we had a very late evening flight. Spiros and his family were so welcoming and accommodating; even allowing us early check in and use of the pool before our room was available. We would have loved to have found this place sooner; the location is absolutely stunning, and the accommodation was perfectly suited to us. Thank you guys!

Great location, great view, great hosts.

All was good

Everything! Hosts were very welcoming & friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Accommodation fantastic! Studio was larger than expected with a Fabulous view from the balcony. Very clean, well appointed and lovely crisp white bedding and very comfortable bed. Pool and gardens immaculate. Excellent location with several restaurants close by, including one below the accommodation. 10 out of 10 from us, and we will be back!! Thank you!

The wifi is really bad

Everything! The warm, friendly welcome and the availability and advice of the owners throughout the stay plus the friendliness of the wider staff. The pool and grounds are so well maintained. The apartments are spotless and are cleaned every other day throughout the stay. Shower was great with plenty of hot water. Kitchenette is well equipped. Bed was so comfortable. Air con was great (and most welcome). The location: just the most stunning views, peaceful, relaxing, gorgeous grounds. Still with three tavernas close by, a short walk down steps to the beach, and a mini market across the road that had the most lovely staff and plenty of produce for our breakfasts and lunches. There are several flights of steps and the surrounding roads can be a little steep in places-it's probably sensible to be aware of this. The pool is beautiful. Spotlessly clean, large, almost always quiet during our stay (we never struggled to find a sunbed), and some afternoons had it completely to ourselves! The surrounding tavernas were delightful. We ate in Apovrado (directly opposite the apartments) 4 times as we enjoyed it so much. Panorama had lovely staff and food, too (short walk along the lane). About a 20 minute walk to the main road for frequent buses to Corfu Town. Another mini market/taverna with delicious ice creams and pastries at the bus stop, too. The beach is lovely. It's operated by a local hotel but is available to all. We spent three mornings on the beach and it was very relaxing and peaceful, also there was no charge for sunbeds/parasols! There are pedalos, paddle boards and small motor boats for hire. Also some boat trips from this beach. All in all, it was a lovely relaxing holiday and we will definitely return. Thank you to the owners for running such a lovely place.

We adored our stay at the beautiful Bella Vista and felt truly welcomed and looked after by Spiros and his family. We had a peaceful, relaxing stay and the view from our balcony was absolutely incredible. Being just a few steps away from the pool made for some easy, lazy days and having breakfast and lunch on our balcony watching the sea was exactly as I'd hoped it would be! We spent some of our time locally at the beach at Dafnila Bay, walking to the Church of Hypapante, and taking a long stroll into Gouvia, but also had a car and bike during our stay to make getting from A to B a little easier and allowing us to explore the rest of the island. The benefit of the peace and seclusion of the complex means that the main road is a little walk away. Walking to the bus stop, down to the beach or some of the local bars and restaurants includes distance, steps and some inclines. A small mini-mart for basics and Apovrado bar & restaurant are much closer.

It was a shame that we arrived just out of season for the poolside bar to be open (early September) as that would have been a welcome addition to our stay, but the combination of our apartment being close enough to the pool to easily grab a drink or snack and there being a bar / restaurant (Apovrado) just below the property meant that we didn't really feel we missed out.

The pool, the view, the terrace, the Mediterranean Sea, the board sleeping on the Mediterranean Sea, the beach down the hill on the Mediterranean Sea, the staff, etc etc and more etc

they didn’t have free food, free drinks, cocktails, and ñ trips to the stars around the moon. We did learn how to differentiate a star from a planet though. We simply loved it and will recommend it forever.

Great views of the bay and hosts are wonderful, generous and friendly people.
