House exceeded all of her expectations!- pools were great, very elegant and spacious house. Close to town and the beaches, although we could’ve been very happy just staying at the house all week. Loved it!!

We first stayed at the property 5 years ago and have wanted to return but the pandemic and extensive renovations to the house delayed our plans. We travelled as a family group of 11 which was 8 adults and 3 children. Ages ranged from 63 to 1 year old. The house was perfect for all of us and we had plenty of space to relax. The house is well equipped with a purpose built gym , beautiful functional kitchen and more than enough tableware , kitchen gadgets etc. We made use of the large gas barbecue and on the nights we didn't want to cook and on Melanie's recommendation used Ubereats We also arranged for someone to cook for us one night and she was very impressed with the villa and the kitchen in particular. We made great use of both the lap pool and the larger pool both of which were suitable for the younger members of our party. The garden area provided enough space for badminton, football and a nice area for the toddlers to run around. There is no need really to leave the villa but we did find that apart from the small car that we mainly used for supermarket runs the best way to get around and explore Lagos was to use Uber taxis which are very reasonable. All the bedrooms and showers are of high hotel quality and everyone felt that they had a lovely bedroom. Melanie's communication beforehand was excellent. We feel very fortunate to have stayed in this extraordinary villa and made some very special memories.

We’ve just returned from a wonderful week in your villa and wow, it completely blew us away! What a fantastic place - the bedrooms were all amazing and spacious, the kitchen well equipped and the pool was probably the best we’ve seen (we’ve had many villa holidays!). The location was perfect - very quiet and the views were fabulous. We’ve visited Lagos for many years now and we wouldn’t hesitate to come back to your villa in the future. I’ve been lucky enough to stay in many villas and this has to be one of the best. Beautifully designed and decorated and the outside is perfect for a large group who want to spread around, especially being spoilt for choice on the pools. Something that hasn’t been mentioned is the top pool for the elderly/less mobile. We managed to get my father (87) in a pool for the first time in years, it was wonderful. Melanie couldn’t have been more helpful with information and help pre holiday, which helped me immensely. Amazing villa, view. So close to Lagos we just ubered everywhere. Thoroughly recommend

14 of us,10adults and 4 children had a brilliant time at the villa for 2 weeks. It was very large as we hoped and we received fantastic info before the holiday and help from Melanie and her management team whilst there. Villa pictures on the internet do not do it justice. Did not want to leave.

A week didn’t feel long enough in this villa! Such a perfect place to unwind with friends close by the main towns of Lagos & Luz. Highly recommend booking this accommodation for a holiday in the Algarve!

Wir hatten mit der ganzen Familie inklusive Baby eine wundervolle Zeit in der Finca! Wir wurden super freundlich empfangen und der Kühlschrank war netterweise extra für uns schon mit etwas Essen und Getränken gefüllt. Die Finca ist exakt wie beschrieben und wie in den Bildern zu sehen - alles war sauber und gut ausgestattet. Einige Gesellschaftsspiele, Bälle und ähnliches sind auch für die Gäste verfügbar. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt und Jo war jeder Zeit für Rückfragen erreichbar. Die Finca ist ruhig gelegen man ist aber innerhalb von 10 Minuten mit dem Auto in Lagos. Wir sind super Happy und können die Finca nur weiterempfehlen. Danke für den fantastischen Urlaub in dieser traumhaften Finca.

From our first contact with Melanie, the homeowner, the hospitality shown to us was outstanding. Before we arrived, Melanie sent us all the information we would need to find the home, use the appliances and technology and enjoy our Lagos stay. Upon our arrival, we were promptly and pleasantly greeted by Jo, who showed us around the villa and made herself available during our stay for any question or issues. There was also a generous gift that included fruit and breakfast supplies in the kitchen. The villa is incredibly spacious -- with plenty of light and private space. We had 5 adult couples for our stay. While there were two twin rooms that were significantly smaller than the 3 other HUGE bedrooms, everyone was pleased with their accommodations. Even though the weather was colder than expected, we spent all our time on the porches and balconies taking in the beautiful views of Lagos and Luz and the sea beyond. The location of the home is ideal for day trips and Lagos was only a few minutes away. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and we were left wanting for nothing -- a real testament from group of foodies who spent every evening cooking together. The villa is situated to offer plenty of privacy and there was more than enough room to park our 4 cars. I cannot imagine a nicer place from which to explore the Algarve.

The house was better than the pictures showed, the pools were great fun. The view is just wonderful. Jo and Peter were at the end of the phone if we needed them, they had filled the house with goodies for when we arrived. Wonderful time was had by all.

We rented the villa as a family group of 7 adults and one baby to celebrate the 30th birthday of our eldest son. As previous reviewers have noted the villa exceeded all of our expectations and the rooms and grounds are even better in real life. We didn't venture out too far, just a couple of trips out in the mornings and a few meals in Lagos at night. The villa was so beautiful we wanted to make the most of our time there. We hired 2 cars from Avis at the airport and the journey is really straightforward. The villa has the feel of staying at a small hotel set in well kept gardens. The welcome pack was exceptional and provided us with a lovely lunch on the day of our arrival prior to a big supermarket shop. Our favourite supermarket Pingo Doce at Lagos marina. Great barbecue items, salad pastries etc to keep us all well fed. There are many extras in the villa that cater for everything, great coffee machine, domestic appliances , pool items, games and board games. The linen and towels are good quality. Jo met us at the villa and explained things to us and when we needed to contact her for advice on taxis etc while we were there she was prompt at coming back to us. Prior to arriving Melanie was exceptionally helpful and we are very grateful to her for allowing us to have the best family holiday ever at the villa. We are all in agreement that we would like to revisit in the future.

We are travelling a lot and we have never seen such a well-equipped house. The kitchen had everything that a cook may desire. We can only recommend this house and we will definitely go back.

Everything was perfect! The kitchen with all it equipment and utensils! The beautiful bedrooms, the livingroom with its amazing view and of course the beautiful garden with its three swimmingpools! Our kids enjoyed themselves perfectly and of course the parents to! The villa is perfectly situated between lagos and luz so within a few minute drive you can enjoye a day on the beach!

everything we hoped for was realized by the house, lots off space everywhere garden, rooms, parking etc, beautiful and warm swimmingpools ,more then enough amenities in the kitchen and in the house and so on , and nice people who welcome u (peter and jo) we all recommend the house for big groups family

This is truly a special place!! From the first email contact with Melanie & Iain this has been such a pleasurable experience. As has been said before, the photo's don't do justice to the spacious rooms, amazing views and well equipped villa you find yourself in. Melanie & Iain's home is a slice of paradise and amazing value for money. The villa itself is beautiful, well maintained, tastefully decorated and so well equipped. The photo's don't capture the size of the rooms & it's a pleasant surprise how light and airy it is on arrival. Melanie has been fantastic from the start, so friendly and accommodating of my MANY questions and requests! It has been like communicating with an old friend, adding to the whole experience for me. Similarly, Peter and Jo are lovely managers, greeting us warmly on arrival ,being on hand to deal with an electrical problem and giving "local knowledge" tips on places to visit too. The welcome "pack" was a generous selection of drinks, food and sweets and treats.. above and beyond the usual! The pools were brilliant, the lap pool being the biggest revelation! We thought we would be using the main pool more but found that being right by the kitchen the lap pool was almost in constant use from the minute the children got up (7.30am!!) til they had gone to bed and the grown-ups had it to themselves (11.30pm!). The fact that it is right next to the kitchen meant even if you were preparing food ( or pouring drinks!) you were still part of the fun. The views were my favourite part of this Portuguese paradise, from Lagos in the east to Praia da luz in the west the mix of countryside and town with glimpses of sea too make it hard to beat. The villa is perfectly situated only 5 minute drive from a large Intermarche supermarket and close to the main A22 road which meant the 55 minute drive from Faro Airport and any travelling up and down the Algarve coast is made easy( without intrusive road noise though). While there, we visited Sagres, Cape St Vincent, Praia's Luz, Camilo, D'Ana & Porto de Mos as well as a sunset at Ponta de Piedade ..all totally stunning and well worth a visit. We hired cars through LuzCars as recommended by Melanie in the information pack you get on completing the booking and found them to be brilliant too! In summary you would be hard pressed to find anywhere better, owned by anyone lovelier and situated anywhere more perfect - a real gem. Thank you for giving us such a memorable venue for our family gathering.

This is a super property, stylish and beautifully furnished, simple, comfortable, relaxed. The linens, towels, beach towels and bedding are super soft and luxurious. We went with just a family of four, children of 14 and 7. Indeed younger children would need constant supervision by the pools but this is in principle a fantastic property for any group make up with plenty of space and wonderful facilities to quite easily accommodate 10 people, all enjoying their own bathroom, bedroom and living space area while sharing an inviting large dining room, kitchen and numerous patios, terraces, balconies, and of course the three fantastic pools. We especially enjoyed the wonderful barbecue and table tennis. You cannot fail to love this place and wish to return. Absolutely value for money. The living space is massive. We didn't do the surrounding area justice as we simply wanted to enjoy time in the property and grounds with our children but would recommend the zoo near, Lagos, (lovely and personal, with free-running wallabies), and we visited Lagos and Aqualand, both lovely trips. The owner, Melanie, is very attentive and customer focused and the managers, cleaners and team who maintain the property, grounds and pools all professional. Highly recommended. We had a fantastic 2 weeks in Portugal. The Villa is stunning and fantastically equipped. The pools are lovely and the views amazing. The owners left a brilliant welcome pack and foods and wines to enable us to relax from the moment we arrived. I would thoroughly recommend this villa.

This really is a five star villa. Great space and facilities and it was tastefully and immaculately furnished and provisioned. It was ideal for our party of 10 as there is plenty of space internally and externally to group together or to find a little privacy when required. A car is essential as there are no shops or restaurants within walking distance and the swimming pools might not suit families with young children as the water is not guarded and toddlers would have to be watched the whole time when outside or when the kitchen windows are open. Having said that, we travel a lot and the space, value and quality were fantastic for our two families with teenagers.

Fantastic villa, and the whole family - 6 adults and 3 children - all had a wonderful time. We were given a warm welcome by the House Manager and found the villa was extremely well equipped including a great kitchen and even pool towels. The villa is in a quiet location, but close to shops, supermarkets and restaurants. The villa was spotless when we arrived and the cleaners who came in mid-week did a great job. All round, a great experience. We would love to go back.
