Booked this property as we walking walking a section of the South West coast, great bus service for return journeys. This property was very easy to find, opposite a large car park, hardly used and playing fields. We liked the round brick chimney, an air shaft, viewed from the side bedroom window. Everywhere was spotlessly clean, the kitchen was well equipped, the bed was extremely comfortable, fan accessible for hot nights, enough wardrobe space with matching hangers, chest of drawers. The wardrobe doors are very quirky! Walk in shower and the rest of the shower room was very clean. We took advantage of the washing machine after one day of very wet walking! Plugs, light switches, lighting was exceptional as was the wall mounted TV, just at the right height. Boarded terrace outside with 2 comfy chairs. Within walking distance of the pubs, restaurants, shops and the harbour. The petrol station nearby was fully stocked for anything forgotten with very friendly staff.

The only comment I could make is that there are no recycling facilities, something we have done for many years and we didn’t like throwing everything into the black wheelie bin outside. We did look to see if any car parks had any facilities but sadly no.

That was a wonderful stay. Little Fernleigh has a unique charm. The interior design is just amazing. This holiday home is cozy, extremely clean, and well equipped. Excellent location, short walk to the beach and the town. We had a wonderful long weekend there. We have done a few beautiful coastal walks. When the weather became windy, we just enjoyed the warm comfort of the apartment. We highly recommend this place.

Beautiful place to stay, facilities were great and comfortable. Loved the little touches with the Christmas decorations, also bottle of wine and cakes from the local bakery. Short walk to shops, pubs and fantastic beach. Loved every minute of our Christmas holiday.
