J’ai bien aimé les gens qui s’occupe de la place , très sympathiques j’ai apprécié l’emplacement car s’est près de tout et la tranquillité
J’ai tout aimé sauf qu’il n’y avait pas d’air climatisé , je le savais déjà mais je pensais pas qu’il aurait fait si chaud

It was close to beach. It was clean.
The room and house perimeter was lined with netting so heat gets in and any coolness does not stay in. It was extremely hot. And because there aren’t proper walls I could hear workers or whoever it was talking very loud next to the windows… and they were not talking about nothing nice. It was not pleasant as My Son was sleeping. I felt one was imitating My Som crying and saying other things. I hope that is not the case. Also it says entire home yet it is separated by booking and rooms. It’s a shared space.

Coco Verde was amazing. The owners kept the place spotless. Lovely little casita.
Beautiful kitchen area, tiled floors, lovely long wooden table in front of window that
allowed breeze to flow in. I even had my own bedroom. 300 meters to the beach.
Highly recommend. As a retired woman travelling solo, I felt very safe and secure.

the location was very convenient, close to the beach and the Main Street.
it didn’t have any signage and was a hard to find. the kitchen didn’t have a lot that could be used.

Had my own room, which I didn’t expect. The lady who owns the place was very nice and helpful.

This is an authentic Costa Rican House. Maria is a most gracious hostess and will make sure you have everything you need.
The kitchen has everything you could want to cook a decent meal and the refrigerator is immaculate. The house is at the end of the street. I felt very safe and secure.

Maria is amazing!! The best and most helpful host I’ve had. So nice! I also had the room to myself because there were no other guests. When the fan in my room stopped working Maria and her family were very fast with helping me and got me another one!
I had ants and a tiny crab in my room one night. Also, the water was turned off due to road work for a couple of hours one day which I wasn’t told about.

Beautiful and cosy place to stay. Super convenient location, a minute away from the beach!! I absolutely loved it, and Maria is really great and kind!! Always helped me out when I needed it. I already know where I’m staying next time I come to Costa Rica:)

When I rode the comments of other customers I was a bit shocked about some, so let me put straight what you will get in this wonderful place:
you are put immediately in a authentic Costa Rican house with a very friendly local family and with Maria (the owner) that is more than happy to help you with anything.
Suggestion: bring some spanish knowledge. In the end you're travelling in a spanish speaking country, isn't it?
Don't expect perfect showers or a kitchen in which you will cook Gault Millau receipts! You will have very simple equipement that, if you have the right mindset for it, is more than enough.

Ants and spiders in the room and on the bed,
no hot water
The shower faucet is a garden faucet.
you can not sleep because at 5 in the morning the owner's dog starts barking and the owner enters the rented apartment several times a day, doing work outside the room at 6 in the morning and it makes a lot of noise, smell Terrible at the entrance to the apartment, and the worst thing is that the owner of the place is not honest.

The description in booking doesn't correspond to the accodomation. It is specified that the entire house will be provided but finally, it was only a small noisy room so the description in booking should be changed.

the hostel is right next to the beach!

The owner tries to make it a pleasant stay despite the ugly things.
Its an old and run down house with cockroaches in the sink, the toilet did not flush, the beds are so noisy and close to break down. Other cabins nearby were nicer and cheaper.
