The heating was a bit erratic. One day it didn’t come on at all and on other days it came on at random times. Not a major problem as the weather was very mild but could have been. I did try to contact Sykes but couldn’t get through

Very near to centre of St Ives

Should have said that it's on top of a very steep hill. I couldn't access this easily by foot. Had to use the car most of the time due to back and leg issues climbing up the hills. The property was lovely,parking difficult Very tight at back of property. Also stairs very steep and up to top bedroom very steep,curving staircase This needs to be highlighted for people who have mobility issues . I could barely get up ,wouldn't have liked another week because of this tbh.

The property was very clean and well maintained. The kitchen was modern and well equipped. A very thoughtful gesture was the welcome pack of tea, coffee and biscuits, and a bottle of milk in the fridge. I booked it for the view from the top bedroom and I was not disappointed.

Extremely well equipped, clean and comfortable. Lots of storage areas. Plenty of power sockets in convenient places to recharge devices. 10 minutes walk from beaches.

Breakers point was like a home from home it was spotlessly clean and had everything in it that you could possibly need for a holiday. A well presented property with full WiFi throughout a fully equipped kitchen with dining table, the living room had comfortable seating area a good sized television with Freeview, also available are board games DVD’s and books. Bedrooms were both large in size the beds were very comfortable both rooms had a sea views the twin room had side sea view and the double with full sea views from both windows, bedrooms are light and airy with ample drawer/wardrobe space. The bathroom was large with a lovely bath and separate shower. Location to the harbour is a pleasant 10 minute walk away you can walk along the path from porthmeor beach then through the quaint streets passing all the pretty holiday cottages as you head towards the town. Just to note if you are walking to and from the house the walk back whichever way you walk and there’s 3 options from the town centre you will have to walk up very Steep hills so if you do have any walking difficulties you may struggle, there is a regular bus service that goes past the house if it’s too difficult. Overall the property is outstanding and in an excellent location I had a very comfortable stay and I wouldn’t hesitate in booking this property again if I were to stay in st. Ives.

The location was perfect, just a short walk from town, so away from the noise. The house was exceptionally clean and the kitchen had all the utensils, pots, pans, glasses, cups etc. The view from the top bedroom was fantastic. The house was very comfortable and warmed up very quickly once the heating was on.

Thicker blinds, particularly in the top bedroom as they are so thin, they do not keep the light out. The parking space was unavailable on the first two nights as the other person in the space next to us had parked diagonally. We were extremely lucky that at this time of year (December) there were no parking restrictions, but spaces were very limited, with few cars moving at all during our stay.
