Location

The hostel is manage only by Volunteers, which means some of Them are good and others not.the kitchen is a joke- only one person can use it at a time, the fridge was completely full and the cleaning of the appliances was really poor. There isn’t any indoor social area with space or furniture to enjoy a meal. The terrace was not maintained without lighting or decoration as seen on the booking hostel page. No one was using masks and is impossible to maintain secure distance from each other. Beeing a beach hostel there is no place to Hang your clothes to dry or any suitable struture. we only had wifi in the room after we made a complaint. Theres is no access to Netflix. The only good thing was the location. The oweners should keep and eye on the place. Worst hostel i’ve ever been.

Our room was a bit noisy with the extreme wind. But that can’t be fixed I guess.

The showers turn off every ~10seconds and zhen you need to push the button again.. and the toilet rooms are really small like your knees are touching the door 😅 thats a little uncool but apart of that it was nice!

Kiedy pada deszcz, woda jest na całym piętrze, dziewczyny rozkładają ręczniki tylko. Dla gości ręczniki są do wypożyczenia po 2€ tak jak kłódka. Dolne prycze dzieli od górnych tak mało miejsca, że nie ma najmniejszych szans żeby usiąść na łóżku. Najgorsze to brak kluczy do pokoi bo jak Pani stwierdziła jest bardzo bezpiecznie i do dzielonych pokoi nie ma kluczy. Zapewne właścicielowi nie chce się dorobić 4 kluczy do każdego pokoju lub to zbyt duża inwestycja… Nie fajne było również to, że wszystkie sypialnie są na 1 piętrze, a męska toaleta i prysznice są na parterze za tzw recepcją…

Great location, great staff, great view from the rooftop. Kids liked the upper bed in the studio. Quite basic kitchen, no hair dryer in the studio. Ceramic tiles with Don Kichot made our day :)

Todo muy bien. Muy limpio y en condiciones. Al llegar nos dieron un estudio en lugar de una habitacion y fue una muy grata sorpresa. Ubicación excelente.

Esta sobre una calle ocn bares y bastante movimiento por lo que si sos de sueño ligero podria ser un problema. Para nosotros no lo fue!

Ontvangst was zeer gastvrij en vlot. Lekker los, surfstyle zeg maar. Locatie top aan de rand van de oude binnenstad. Een beetje sleets maar wel heel mooi pand in moorse stijl, en hé het is een hostel.

Beddengoed was wat dun voor de frisse nachten in januari.

It’s a good location with bus services within walking distance. Lots of good places to eat close by. It’s very relaxed here you can really chill.

La habitación muy bien, y la ubicación excelente. La terraza espectacular.

Los baños no estaban muy limpios, y el de hombres era en otra planta. Entraban muchos mosquitos por la ventana y la puerta.

Excellent location next to Jerez gate. About 10 minute walk straight up the main street from the bus station. It had a rooftop terrace we could use, plus well equipped kitchen facilities. We had a jug, toaster and fridge in our room, but nowhere to prepare or eat food. The only water basin was in the toilet which was not ideal. The tiles were very interesting!

The toilet and private shower were added into the room without ventilation ( a small fan in the toilet ). The shower cubicle was extremely small. We had cold showers 2 out of the 4 days. (Maybe it was because it was cloudy and a bit rainy and the solar hot water system didn’t work? ) The outer wooden door into the room was so warped it was extremely difficult to open and required a lot of force.

You can NOT trust the hostel staff at all. I booked and paid in advance for a stay in a particular room with a terrace. But after that, the staff sold that room to someone else and when I arrived they tried to give me a completely different room. I refused because the deal was different. I received my money back, but that change spoiled my travel plans. This accident was so depressing that I left the town immediately. My personal advice is to avoid that hostel.

El Olor a tabaco que entraba a la habitación desde las zonas comunes, con lo cual no podíamos mantener la ventana abierta; la cama no era cómoda (supongo que no todas serán así).

Sicuramente la posizione é strategica, centrale e perfetta per andare al mare e passeggiare nel centro storico di tarifa. L’hostel si trova giusto accanto alla porta de la ciudad (ingresso al centro). I ragazzi che lavorano sono molto gentili e disponibili. La biancheria profumata e tutto sommato l’ambiente é pulito!

Peccato che la nostra stanza fosse davvero mal tenuta e soprattutto con grossi problemi di umidità. Le foto non corrispondono a quello che avevamo visto su Booking. Non saprei da dove iniziare; Letti scomodissimi, bagno improvvisato (in realtà il bagno era separato dalla stanza con una tendina!). La doccia sembrava nuova ma il box era rotto per cui fuoriusciva l’acqua, il wc separato dall’angolo “bagno” con un aeratore che faceva un rumore molto fastidioso. L’umidità per noi é stata la cosa più grave. In dotazione, infatti, abbiamo trovato anche un deumidificatore che si riempiva ogni mezz’ora e che doveva essere svuotato!!!! Non abbiamo pagato poco, ci aspettavamo dei servizi all’altezza del costo!!!!!Stavamo letteralmente in mezzo alla strada, la nostra stanza era separata dalla struttura e si trovava all’interno di un locale chiuso da una persiana che dava sulla strada, la persiana era l’unica finestra della camera se la aprivamo eravamo sulla via principale di Tarifa. É stato un disastro e non vedevamo l’ora di andare via!

internet was not very fast

We loved the big private room upstairs, just in front of the bathrooms. 5 meters to the ceiling wayw loved it! and close to the kitchen and the amazing rooftop terrace with the best view of Tarifa and Africa! we also had two nights in the Studio, which was ok, we just missed some hangers on the wall, and internet ! but all in all very nice hostel, location is amazing and the beautiful old tarifa house was just a pure visual joy to stay in! Wauw. My friend got an amazing price on kite lessons through the hostel. and a great kiteinstructor!

The internet was not good, in the studio was barely no connection at all and in the main house was very slow. Is the only reason why I can't give 10/10
