The after hours attendant was very helpful and left the key to the room out for us.

It was in an off the beaten path location. Lots of graffiti etc made ot seem not tourist friendly. Water pressure and temperature difficult to control. Bed clothes for pull out sofa not available.

Spacious room, good breakfast buffet. Parking on site (ask for directions first!). 10 minutes walk from the castle and centre. We had good dinner outside.

Used to be a top hotel in its day, now it still showcases splendid dancehall (used as breakfast room) and bar/restaurant. They do their best, but can't change the neighbourhood, can they?

it did not smell good when you entered the hotel, decor looked very tired and the shower in the room was very flimsy. it was not good value for money.

Locked doors, need to call to enter the hotel. reception only until 10pm. Hard to find and enter parking and misleading pictures at hotel’s profile

The room was very nice, but if you looked under the bed, there was a lot of dust and it was not cleaned properly. The cupboard doors did not move smoothly and generally speaking, the hotel is a bit old and needs some refurb.

Staff were nice and helpful. Great location. Wonderful breakfast. Nice rooms.

Not a complaint at all, but if you’re arriving by car, be aware the entry to the car park is quite tight.

entrance looked like a building site- we nearly cancelled on the spot. Sour reception person opened door. Better inside. v good breakfast in huge old ballroom - with elephants.

we loved the elephant motifs, especially in the dining room and the breakfast was fabulous. the garden was really nice to sit in, it was a funky and beautiful hotel

The bathroom had a big window and the shower worked really well. Breakfast was fine. They graciously accepted to amend my reservation so that I could leave earlier for Hambourg when my plans changed.

This was the most expensive room I had during my entire trip and it really wasn't justified. This was billed as a suite because technically there were 2 rooms but the square footage wasn't any larger than that of a generous room. The suite in question was in an annex under renovation so I had to walk through a lobby cluttered with torn carpets, disused furniture, tools etc. The sofa in my sitting room needed changing.

The room was under the roof and I didn't find out how to open the roof windows. The other windows are very small and since there was no air conditioning, it got quite hot in the room. It was not clear to me when booking that the tram is going directly under my windows, so it got quite loud. Internet was not working.

Our room was large with a lovely seating area. It was also quite cool despite the heat outside. The food was excellent both evening meal and breakfast. The staff were lovely and very accommodating. Would highly recommend.

We were surprised to have to go out of the hotel and along the street to another door to access our room. Having said that keys were provided and we found it easier to walk down the side of the building into the back garden. It was a little noisy due to trams and people enjoying the garden.

- The stuff are very nice and friendly. - The room is near the road. So they also prepare the ear plugins. - The breakfast is pretty nice and they are really considerable. For example, we have 4 people traveling together. When they knew our room number, they even prepare a separate table for all of us.

- They didn't prepare slippers for the customers. - We can only log in after 3 o'clock.

Breakfast was OK, location was good.

The hotel description at Booking.com was far away from the reality. They mentioned about city view or garden view, but the only view was construction scaffolding just behind our window. Silent rooms was also mentioned, but all the noise from the street kept us awake. Hotel had earplugs in the room for guests, but they didn´t help. Good location and parking was the only positive thing. Next time we´ll prefer some other hotel.

Very nice hotel, good breakfast, good beds and good parking space for our car.
