Very nice location and the hotel looked very beautiful! Close to the train station and starting point to oeschinensee The food at restaurant was sooooo good, definitely recommend!

My Husband and I went for a Hike+Bike trip and we were overwhelmed with the activities we could persue. We went for 3 days, and enjoyed the views, and activities.

There were a lot of possibilties to buy local dairy products, but we had no fridge in the room. However, it is not something we did not like, just something missing.

The room was spacious and clean with a nice balcony overlooking a big lawn. Breakfast was good with various kinds of bread and cold cuts. The Swiss herbal tea selection is lovely. The gentleman at the reception was very friendly, cheerful and humourous. The food in the restaurant was very delicious and beautifully-presented. Its signature "20 herbs soup" is one of the best I have ever tried.

The restaurant seemed to be slightly under-staffed the evening we dined there. We saw unhappy faces at another table and behind the bar counter when we almost finished our dinner. I hope this is not the usual case coz the food was really nice and the restaurant was beautiful.

Excellent rooms, very comfortable for family and nice location in Kandersteg, walking distance from Train station. Beautiful view of the alps from the balcony. Restaurant food was delicious, presented beautifully and tasted like made with fresh ingredients.

The staff were very helpful, the location was outstanding and the spa facilities made a perfect day even better.

The lobby was very spacious with a pool table and study room. We didn’t use the spa but that’s a cool free feature! Good buffet breakfast and a peaceful location (a little further from the main traffic). They gave us discounts to use on cable cars and we could use the city buses for free!

Good location close to the center and good to start hikes. Spa is new and nicely built. We also liked the terrace to slow down. The breakfast is very nice as well. Delicious croissants.

Our room was located above the restaurant terrace and when we opened the window the whole room smelled from cigarette smoke! Decoration of the swimming pool is very basic compared to the newly built spa. It feels like two different worlds.

Great little town, amazing scenery and lovely amenities

Unfortunately the car charger did not work and no alternatives in town. The rooms are very dated but very clean and nothing to complain!

I liked the location in the village and all the people working in the hotel. You could tell that they cared about doing an excellent job, whether at the front desk or cleaning the rooms.

hot water in the showers was sometimes sporadic, parking spaces sometimes fill up, and it would have been nice to have a stack of towels available poolside

The hotel is very nice. We booked a junior suite and it was very comfortable. Loved the amenities like swimming pool and Sauna.

We visited in summer and it was too hot during night. The rooms are missing an air conditioner or fan.
