Bath / Shower in the room, very slippy, did fall

Location close to the old city (15 min walk), to the train (10 min) and bus stations (15'). Staff kindness and availability.

The major problem was that the room had no separation between the bathroom and the bed. While the WC was in a niche separated by a sliding panel, the shower and sink were in the same space as the bed, giving no privacy at all. This is not the norm for hotels in general (let alone 4 stars), and it should thus be at least clearly evidenced in the room description and/or in room photographs to make people aware of it before reserving. Perhaps for some people (or for single travellers) this would not be a problem, but this is not a general rule and I hence believe it should be signalled. Considering the hotel level and the room prices, this is a major limitation and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Its quite quirky, not many staff. The location was just about OK

I thought the room was cramped. Trying to fit lots in. This meant the wash basin was tiny and yet there was a jacuzzi bath in the room. Didn't make sense to me. Also I could hear other guests and opening and closing doors. Also there was noise from the street in the early hours and I was on the 4th floor. But as I was there for only one night it wasnt a big deal. If I was staying longer I would at an alternative, one closer to the centre, i.e. cathedral

Quite an unusual little room due to its shape, perfect for a few days stay and decorated very nicely. The location is ideal but still quiet at night. The room was very clean and the beds super comfy which makes a huge difference. Nice shower and bath with bath salts provided too! Very cosy all in all. The staff were friendly and helpful; they let us keep our bags there when we checked out and changed up a €50 note for us too. A lovely experience.

Always think a kettle wouldn’t go amiss but that’s because we are British!

room very small and circular dirty and stained and dusty breakfast was stale and not fresh - croissants rock hard, bread out of date. better to buy breakfast locally in a cafe. parking a nightmare ! not near hotel, and then they forgot to give me code to get out !!!
