Nice guesthouse along the B1 in a nice environment. The food was excellent, the rooms are big, the beds are comfortable. The staff is nice and welcoming.

The location was good, far enough from the road to not be bothered by noise. The general ambience was interesting and the hostess made us feel most welcome. Dinner was tasty and wholesome. The architecture of adjacent building certainly made one feel away from home. Very interesting

After a very long day travelling, Namgate was an absolute delight to arrrive at. Very friendly reception, lovely spacious rooms. Easy drive from here to the border post We had dinner at Namgate....homecooked and delicious.

PLEASE PROVIDE A TABLE AND CHAIR AND EASY CONNECTION TO POWER OUTLET IN THE ROOM SO ONE CAN WORK WITH A LAPTOP AND CHARGE THE CELL PHONE, PLUS A TV WITH REMOTE. ALSO BEDSIDE LAMP FOR THE SINGLE BEDS.

We had a wonderful stay at Namgate Guesthouse. If you are planning on visiting the Fish River Canyon, definitely stay here. It is far less expensive than accommodations near the canyon and it not a far drive away. We stayed 2 nights. The staff went above and beyond expectations anyone could have. this definitely felt family-style. They have a butchery and a padstal nearby. Dinner is also worth getting there (arrange in advance). The lamb was the best we've ever had and the sheep were raised on site.

The Wi-Fi didn’t connect and Grunau was our first night within the borders of Namibia. Without the WiFi connecting, and is struggling with SIM cards etc, we couldn’t contact our family in South Africa.

The owner was super welcoming and friendly. Loved the relaxed atmosphere, honesty bar and size of room.

It is a very beautiful property. Nice location , very friendly staff and delicious food.
