A beautiful view, a very friendly and kind staff (especially the singing waiters who brought joy to early mornings) and a delicious breakfast outside with a view of the sea.

The staff of the hotel is very helpful and most of them speak English. They have arranged us a transfer from Lecce train station directly to the hotel (for 60 EUR), booked us a taxi to Marittima, made possible an upgrade to a seaview roam (for an additional fee), and they have tried to help us finding a car to rent (note: in this period, we cannot find an available car - all are full booked, but you can rent a boat or a scouter). This hotel is well located near the sea and the historical city centre. I recomand booking the rooms with seaview if you want to have more space and a panoramic view of the sea. The rooms are recently renovated. The outdoors of the hotel look really nice where you can connect with nature.

1. Breakfast could be more diversified; 2. The bathrooms need some renovations; 3. The rooms should be cleaned more carefully; 4. I would appreciate if they would have some basics fitness equipment.

Beds, bathroom and noisy. I could not sleep from people outside my room and from some noise like a machine.

Common area and outdoor area were nice. The view was nice.

I have no idea how this is a 4 stars. The rooms were awful, the shower couldn’t be used. One of the blinds was stuck, they said they would fix it and they didn’t so the room was very bright early in the morning.

Spacy parking under trees, kind personel, nice view from the room to the see, good breakfast in the garden.

Hotel and the room rather old, tiny elevator, generally ok for short stay, but nothing else.

As my expectations.

The Hotel Orsa Maggiore is located on a hillside (short drive up from the town), and we had a good sized room with a balcony that overlooked sea, and we enjoyed two wonderful sunrises. We enjoyed breakfast in both the downstairs terrace, and in the garden (under the olive trees). There was ample free parking on the property, and the staff were friendly.

Excellent hotel and very friendly and helpful staff! Top-notch cleanliness, spacious room, amazing view from the balcony, spacious private parking. The breakfast was great with very relaxing atmosphere in the restaurant's terrace. Hotel's location is perfect, you can walk to Grotte Zinzulusa on foot just in some 10 minutes. Unfortunately we were very limited in time otherwise we would love to stay in "Orsa Maggiore" much longer than one day. We would be happy to come back! Mille grazie!
