Breakfast was limited due to the kitchens being closed. Nevertheless, basics were offered and it was fine for a quick start to the morning.

It would have been nice to have been aware that the kitchen was closed and the dining etc needed to be else where. Luckily local options were available.

It was quiet and clean. The lady and the gentleman in the front were very polite and helpful. The breakfast was fine, the best you can get for 5€.

It was very warm during the night because of summer heat, and we couldn’t sleep very well. There were no fan or air conditioning. There were also no refrigerator in the room so we could have cold water. There are also stairs that lead to the room so you have to carry your suitcases all the way.

This hotel is within 60 seconds walk of the start of the Schluchtensteig Trail. Its easily accessible by bus from Waldshut-Tiengen train stations. The staff were extremely friendly. Nice pizza :-) My room was comfortable and very clean.

The decor in the room was like a bit of a hangover from the 1980s but it was nothing to be concerned about.

Very friendly and helpful staff, excellent restaurant, wonderful chef, spacious room, nice village for one night stay after seeing Rhein falls, good parking for our motorcycles.
