Gut ist: - Unkomplizierter Check-In und Check-Out - Parkplatz direkt hinter dem Haus - Nettes Personal - Schönes Ambiente im Haus und im Zimmer - Gut funktionierende Klimaanlage - Superbequemes Doppelbett - Gutes und reichliches Frühstück

Nicht ganz so gut ist: - Etwas abgelegen, aber zu Fuß ins Zentrum gehen ist noch gut möglich - Lage direkt an der Hauptstraße - Zimmer auf der Rückseite des Hauses sind aber ruhig - Sichtschutz/Verdunklung nur mittels zu kleiner Vorhänge möglich - Rollos/Jalousien/Fensterläden wären gut

Really nice place! Costly but that is the location! We were very pleased with the friendly staff (the young lady at administration & front desk) always helpful! And the lady making and taking care of breakfast is a gem! You really feel the positive hospitality vibe! Such a pleasure! Thank You.

The hotel is on the outskirts of Velden, but still a short walk, about 10-15 minutes, from the centre. I guess the building has recently been renovated and the lounge area is warm and cosy. Even though we had our room facing the main road it wasn't noisy at night (it's winter so our windows were shut, I don't know if it's still quite in summer during the Sportwagentreffen).

As breakfast was described as "exceptional" I was expecting a little more variety of food and hopefully more options for vegans. As at the time of booking I hadn't been made aware that we would have had to self check-in, at our arrival we were left disappointed to find a vacant reception with no one in sight but a phone number to call in case of need. We arrived early, before checking-in time and before receiving our room codes via email, still we hoped to find a member of staff to inform we would have left our car in the parking area and register our arrival. The room was bright with a very comfy bed, but the shower had no door and the bathroom glass door was stuck and wouldn’t close, so when having a shower water drops would end up on the floor near the bed. Our room was next to the bar and breakfast area making it quite noisy if you want to sleep after 6:30am.
