Beautiful, quiet location and right on the river. The deck and the garden are excellent places to chill out, swim, or read a book. The extensive and tasty Turkish breakfast buffet is served at the same riverfront, if you’re lucky you can spot a happy looking Caretta sticking its head out of the water every now and then. Very friendly and attentive owners and staff. Rooms are on the small side but well equipped and fit for purpose. Would be very happy to return one day to this lovely place.

This hotel is in a beautiful location, on the river opposite the rock tombs. The gardens are beautiful, the staff are lovely and the whole place has a calm, tranquil vibe.

The best location you can stay in Dalyan. This is my second time in this hotel and everything looked better. Amazing views facing the rock tombs. Staff is very kind and helpful. Breakfast was good. Close to the town center. So peaceful and quiet in the night. Would recommend it.

Great location. Friendly owners, clean and comfortable faciities.
Able to sit by the river, watch the traffic on the river and viewfamous rock tombs opposite. famous rock tombs. Quirky with well tended mature gardens. Short drive to town which was lovely with interesting shops and plentiful eating and drinking otions. Well worth a visit.
Ability to make hot drinks in the room would be welcome.

Incredible place, charming, natural, beautiful. Very calm and serene, the perfect place for nature lovers and whoever is looking for a break away from the confusion of the mass tourism. They have various species of birds, well cared, they have access to the river where you can swim, and can easily call a boat to get you to the beach. The owners are caring and heart warming, very nice and genuine people. The breakfast is very good! We will surely stay with them again when we come back to Dalyan.

Very nice place to stay. Beautiful garden and atmosphere. The staff is very kind and welcoming. Rooms are very clean. The view on the river is top. We took a boat from there and this is one of the best hotel you can choose here when you get to see the other options.

Nice breakfast, great location for the river buses.
If you like a hard mattress you will not be disappointed. The room was without clothes storage e.g. wardrobe although this didn't matter to us as we were only staying for one night.

We enjoyed our stay at Happy Caretta! This charming hotel is set in a beautiful garden right on the river with a lovely view of the Rock Tombs. The owners are a lovely couple who were very helpful and kind. The room and bed were very comfortable though the bath was a little small. The Turkish breakfast was basic but good. A great value stay for exploring beautiful Dalyan.

We loved staying here! This place was wonderful – calm, relaxing, beautiful gardens and lovely river frontage. Bedrooms were simple and clean with good bathrooms and great air con. The owners were charming and relaxed. Predominantly Turkish clientele who gave it a local and authentic feel. Would definitely return!

So much. The Location. Pretty flowered garden and decking. Boats can pick up and drop you. Easy walk to shops and restaurants. Breakfast and homemade preserves.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Amazing location and design, charming atmosphere thanks to the friendly owners, great homemade breakfast and pancakes, a small pier with sunbeds to swim with a view over the ancient tombs))) The taxi boat stop to go to the Turtle beach is directly by the hotel. The vibrant town center, shops and restaurants are a 5-7 walk away.

The location was excellent, right on the river overlooking the tombs. A very short walk into town. Beautiful gardens and very nice family running it.

It is a brilliant location on the river opposite the rock tombs for which the area is rightly famous. the owners and their staff were very friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was a basic Turkish fair but plenty of it and well served. Everything was spotlessly clean.
in honesty, it is overdue a makeover and the furniture and fittings were of a Turkish style of say 40/50 years ago in the main, the small bathrooms were newer, if you are happy to swim in the river it is ok but if not there is no pool.
