Amazing price and value. The staff was wonderful. Very friendly, helpful and attentive. Great location. Breakfast is very good. The Paraguayan soft drinks available for purchase in the lobby are great. Rooms are spacious, great beds, nice city view. Streets are deserted at night, but we found them safe to walk. A lot of police officers on foot patrol. Taxis are a bargain. Just under $6 US each way to the Del Sol shopping mall across town.

Television did not work. This was a minor issue for us since we didn't need to use it. No restaurants open in the evenings near the property. The hotel has what looked like a nice restaurant on the 18th floor, but it was not operating during our visit. Thank goodness for Pedidos Ya!.(South America version of Grub Hub).

1. they cheated on the exchange rate. although one dollar was about 7200 they charged 7500 2. the room they gave us was terrible with dirt walls having holes. then they moved us to a better room (thanks) 3. there was no hair dryer and although we asked one insistently they said no. however they brought one the next day (thanks) 4. safe box was not working

Really friendly staff who were very helpful with my constant questions in broken Spanish! I loved the rooftop pool which was necessary in the 39-40 Degree Celsius temperature. I do not recommend travelling to Asuncion in Jan or Feb unless you really like this level of heat. The room was a little old-fashioned but very spacious and quiet.

There was some mould on the ceiling of the bathroom which really needs to be cleaned in my opinion and is not really acceptable for a quality hotel. Other than that the hotel was excellent value for money.

The hotel is not luxurious, so do not expect that. However it does serve as a safe, clean and helpful basecamp in downtown Asuncion. The Hotel is old, but clean. The breakfast is all that is required. The location is good for historic downtown. The rooms are basic, but clean. The staff are extremely helpful.

Large room, with king size bed, a little sofa, two chairs and a table. Very spacious.

The whole building is very dated, not just the rooms. Very tatty walls and interiors. Not the sort of hotel that you would be proud to stay in.

Everything was really nice and clean and a very nice place and the view from the rooftop. The staff was also very friendly and helpful.

There weren't any problems really.

staff charged me some extra money saying it was tax, however the price indicated on booking. com already had tax in it. requested an invoice, but did not receive it from them.

I don’t want to sound picky but the staff in the reception does not speak English at all, however I met a hotel worker who worked in the kitchen who could speak English with me. I think they should swap jobs with the reception staff:))

The location was perfect for us. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We left clothes out to be laundered and it was returned the same day. The room was clean with an amazing view.

Sauna didn't work, and it looked that the "renovation" is taking very long, nobody spoke english

Very big and clean room with a fridge, tv and very big mirror. The AC was functioning and I was able to dim the lights in many different ways. On the roof there was a swimming pool and some fitness machines that we could use.

In general I liked everything. It was a bit hard to find a taxi in the street where to hotel was. You have to walk a bit to a more central place or order a taxi or uber beforehand.

Windows nailed closed, need more savoury (cheese) and less sweet at breakfast, breakfast could start earlier (starts at 7)

Great accommodations for the price. Rooftop was awesome place to chill.
