Beautiful location

Outside seating area could have been maintained a little better

The decor was beautiful, view was magnificent and proximity to Yosemite convenient. Also hosts have thought of everything as far as amenities and convenience are concerned. Lots of fun for kids and adults alike.

The only thing that could’ve possibly been better for me are the pillows. But everyone is different and I should know by now to bring my own. I tend to be particular.

Everything was great! The host is super responsive and very helpful! Their house is so spacious and beautiful.I really like the house!

This was a very calm, quiet comfortable place for a family get together. We really found it accommodating, homey and with plenty of space. The kitchen is really nice with a gas grill and large fridge, kitchen utensils, etc. Very nice grounds to hang out outside and the backyard has a beautiful view of a tree filled canyon and mountainside skyline views with evening sunsets. Not to mention you can see the beautiful Milky Way above with it's bright stars on a clear night.

Wish there was a swimming pool. However, the hot tub was great. A sliding glass door from the master bedroom would really make it super great.

Moon Ranch is located a short distance from Mariposa (*eat at the 1850 Brewing Co.) and about 35 miles from the entrance to Yosemite. It’s a lovely home, with 3 bedrooms that sleep 7 (K, Q, D&T). The beds are super comfortable. There is also a converted bonus room with big screen TV, computer and games. It was hot (110) when we visited and the bonus room was a little warm but plenty of fans provided. The main house was very comfortable with excellent AC. Washer & Dryer provided with laundry soap, which was appreciated after a couple days of heavy hiking. While we didn’t actually start a fire in the fire pit, we did sit outside to watch the sunset every night. The yard and fire pit could use some upkeep along with the steps down to the area. However, the view from the back was amazing. The owner was super easy to communicate with and was always available to answer any questions and responded quickly. I would recommend Moon Ranch and would definitely stay here again.

Moon Ranch was very spacious for the six of us (3 adult couples) staying there. The host was very helpful with information about the area and Yosemite reservations. We stayed there to visit Yosemite Nat Park for 2 days. We were about 45 minutes from Yosemite. The property has a very spacious back porch, deck, plenty of outside seating. The kitchen is very modern and had all we needed. Open concept dining and kitchen that overlooks hills/valleys - beautiful setting! No worries about keys, they have a key pad. Owner was very good with communications and directions.

Overall, it was a nice place, I was hoping that it was a little closer to Yosemite but after traveling there, I can see that Mariposa is one of the bigger towns that is near Yosemite without being in Yosemite. I do not have any negatives to share about this property. It sits on 5 acres an has plenty of room for everyone to spread out both inside and outside.

Gorgeous home with the best views! Our family, including our children, had the most wonderful time!

Nothing

Pretty much everything. The views are beautiful. Everything in the home is nice and updated. Set up very well. Everything is provided and even though we brought a lot of our own stuff, the kitchen was very well equipped.

The hot tub hours could be a little longer maybe until 11... just we had kids and by the time the grown ups were able to get to the point of winding down we didn’t have much time to enjoy the hot tub. Not that we didn’t like it, it would just worked better in our favor.
