So much better than any hotel in town. Perfect location to all the best restaurants, bars, and shopping on Mass st. This was our second time and don’t plan on staying anywhere else when our son becomes a Jayhawk himself. Stay here and enjoy a nice relaxing time❣️

This was the most charming, sweet loft! Plenty of room and everything you might need. We really enjoyed being close to dining and other activities. So glad we got to stay here!

We came into town for a race weekend and we’re thrilled with our accommodations! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Hello Sunshine is perfectly located within walking distance to bars, restaurants, and even farmers market! It is equipped with everything you need and the host is so accommodating and communicative! Would definitely book again!!

What a perfect spot to stay for a weekend in Lawrence! This place was so cute and had every amenity you could think of. We were able to walk to shops and restaurants and it was very pet friendly. It was also comfortable and quiet. Will definitely return!

We wanted to stay close to Mass street in Lawrence. Hotel prices were very high, so I started looking at VRBO and found "Hello Sunshine". What a jewel of a property. It had everything we needed and more, was close to downtown, including the Farmers Market! We will definitely keep this place in mind for future visits to Lawernce!!

Jenny was great about communicating check-in and was helpful. This was a very nice place that was comfortable and had everything we needed. The location could not be beat as it was within a couple blocks of everything on Massachusetts Street in Lawrence. Highly recommend.

I stayed two nights at the Hello Sunshine with my dog and was SO pleased with the whole experience. The apartment was so comfortable, clean, cute, and had everything we could possibly need (and then some!). It's just a few blocks from downtown - we could easily walk back and forth to shops/restaurants/parks and got to go "home" to a quiet, tree-lined neighborhood. The hosts were responsive and great to work with. I'd definitely stay there again and would recommend it to anyone visiting Lawrence.

We came to town for a wedding and this is a perfect location. Blocks from Mass and our favorite coffee shop (Decade on Delaware).

Great Stay for our Wedding
This Vrbo was the perfect place to stay for our wedding! It was a great location for the bridesmaids and my wife to get ready. Couldn't have asked for more!

Very cute studio apartment over garage. There some steps on the outside that we used once then due to rain ,owner allowed us inside stairs access which was awesome!!! Futon bed wasn't very soft but if you like firm beds, it's a winner!!

Outstanding vacation rental
We lived in Lawrence for many years, but moved to my wife's family ranch when I retired. We still visit Lawrence often. We have tried several vacation rentals but Hello Sunshine fits our need to tee. Perfect location, nice comfortable up to date apartment with all the amenities. We have found our go to place when we visit Lawrence and hope to stay here again soon.

Great place
Place was perfect! 1 block off Mass Street with all the restaurants so it was walkable. Well stocked with some snacks and even a mini bar, coffee and ice maker. We were there for a basketball game and campus visit. Too far to walk to campus but that was not a problem bc we had rental car...and parking spot. Very cute decor. Only issue was sleeping in a Full size bed with my husband when we are used to a King size. I would stay there again!

Roomy efficiency apartment. Quality kitchen cookware, many pots, pans, bowls all in great condition. High quality finishes (art, sinks, faucets, counter tops, linens, towels,& a record player with records! Easy access to downtown Lawrence, KU, shopping, and two breweries. Dedicated off street parking. Very comfortable apartment; highly recommend this property.

Great location
Two blocks to downtown and the start of the Belgiun Waffle Ride (bike race) that my husband raced in. It was perfect. Hello Sunshine had every single thing you could possibly want and need! Jenny left nothing out! The bathroom had so many organic lotions, liquid soap and amazing shampoo. It was better than a spa. We would definitely stay there again!

Might be the best little VRBO property EVER
Imagine how you feel on the perfect sunny day in spring or autumn. This property makes you feel like that. Excellent contemporary design, everything you could want and many things you didn't know you wanted. Privacy, big trees, charming old neighborhood, and a truly gracious owner.

We loved Hello Sunshine. It’s a well appointed, super cute space with all the right updates. The hosts did a great job stocking it with everything you could possibly need. The location can’t be beat. Easy walk to Mass street and all the shops and restaurants nearby! We’d definitely choose to stay there again.

This place was so very perfect for what my friend and I were looking for on our Girls Getaway. Cute, clean, within walking distance to great restaurants and shops, with great and thoughtful touches like chocolate, coffee, wine, etc. Would love to return here someday!
