When we arrived the unit we rented was not available due to water damage so we couldn’t stay there . I’m still trying to get my $ back for the unit we couldn’t stay in. Can you help?

The view, and bed rest well. Dissatisfied: We didn't have any communication with the owner and was told by the front desk that they had been trying for several days to contact the owners to report a leak and was not able to reach them. I talked with someone the day before because I had not received any information about checking in. I was assured all I needed was my itinerary number and the reservation ID to check in. Unfortunately we weren't even able to get to front desk because we weren't allowed to drive to the Condo without a unit number. We spend at least 1/2 in the parking lot while talking with someone from Expedia trying to help us. The person whom was trying to help me stayed on the line and I am grateful for his patience . with me, but unfortunately we hung up before realizing there was no water in master shower, yet a constant drip in the bath tub throughout our stay. Only 6 wash clothes and 6 towels for4 people for 3 nights and 2 days. no hangers in the master closet to hang clothes, 2 light bulbs not working in guess bed room, water not connected to ice maker so there wasn't any ice for drinks, recliner was broken, receptacle cover was broken in the kitchen, no a/c but asked to keep the windows closed (really) Baloney was nasty and unsafe as the rug was torn and bunched up, phone land line rang during the night waking us up and on top of all the inconvenience and paying for a cleaning service we were asked to wash, dry a towels Really!!!!!!!

good views, furniture alittle old but not bad

Check in process was via instagram which was unusual from my perspective and the check in process was sent in a separate, second email so was easy to overlook.

The view is breathtaking!! We had a white Christmas, and it was the perfect gift for our son!! The front desk manager, Frank was a joy to work with. He is an asset to the property!! It is not a ski in ski out property but there is a bus that will take you to the ski resort and a shuttle that will take you to the property from your car. The unit was very comfortable and a perfect size for 3 people. Would love to have had a Keurig coffee maker, a gift shop for essential ie decaf coffee, or complimentary coffee in the lobby. The Citadel area has its own elevator close to the unit. A nice added feature. The gas fireplace was locked, and we were unable to use it sadly!! It is a feature in the photos. A huge disappointment! The unit is rented thru a company not an individual and therefore you must wash your towels before leaving. I've never had to do this before. Please see this so you can wash the towels the night before. It was great to get away and have a white Christmas!!

Easy check in and great location and place to stay. View of slopes is amazing.

Being from So. Florida my friend and I were looking forward to sitting by a beautiful fire on the cold nights. The condo never mentioned that the fireplace was “off limits” for our entire week! False advertising for sure. We wouldn’t have rented this unit if that information were provided. Very, very disappointed. Also, both shower curtains had mold on them! 😟

It’s been a while since we took a trip just for fun and this one was perfect. The condo was spotless, the furnishings were comfortable and the bed was great. And then there’s the view from the balcony. It was incredible at sunset. We really hated to leave. I would certainly stay there again. This was by far our best VRBO experience.

The property is fabulous! The views of the mountains are unbelievable; and from every room in the unit. The unit was spotless and very comfortable. We had everything we needed. The staff at Sugartop were very friendly and the shuttle service was prompt. The perfect fall get away to enjoy the Octoberfest at Sugar Mtn. We will definitely be back!!

Facility was clean and nicely furnished. Some cosmetic improvements should be addressed. The location and views are excellent. We especially enjoyed hiking Linville Falls. My one negative perspective is that the property managers were not helpful in their knowledge of the area and activities.

We love this area. The views were great, the location was convenient, the layout of the condo was perfect, the washer/dryer in the condo was a plus too.

Would stay again

This condo was immaculate and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The views from the 9th floor balcony were beautiful! The host was very reception and friendly. Definitely the best!

We enjoyed our stay which looked west over ski slopes, beautiful sunsets and a beautiful view !

We will NEVER forget the view from this 9th story high mountain top condo. It was like being in a small airplane ALL THE TIME! We didn’t want to leave the condo because we just wanted to stare at the view! The condo: We used the large TV in the living room for family NETFLIX viewing; and the TVs in each bedroom for channel viewing. The condo is tasteful, comfortable and extremely practical for a group of three or four. The split bedroom layout gives everyone privacy. It’s a terrific getaway spot; and the large building was not difficult to navigate or figure out. We enjoyed the pool and spa. A great vacation experience!

The condo is very well appointed with super comfortable beds and furnitire. The extra large balcony provided spectacular mountain views! Highly recommend for a relaxing Sugar Mountain escape!

Good location to the slopes.

We had a lovely stay, and it was the perfect spot to relax for a few days. I loved the random weather patterns and sky changes. The escape from the heat was an added bonus!

This condo was more than I had hoped for. Updated kitchen and super comfortable furniture! Everything you need for a short or extended stay right at your fingertips! Super friendly staff at parking hut too! I will be back next year if not sooner.

The property itself was absolutely wonderful. Parking and getting to and from the property with a family and ski gear was really difficult.

We had a great experience apart from the howling wind that weekend. We loved the pool area. I brought two teenage boys that really enjoyed the stay.

This is the place if you would like a great view! My husband and I stayed in this beautifully furnished condo and enjoyed looking at the ski slopes! We were fortunate to be visiting family!

Very clean and comfortable, the views are perfect. Parking is far but they do have friendly shuttle to take you to your parked car.

Came up for a ski weekend with the family. The resort was great. Indoor heated pool and hot tub. The room was very spacious and clean. The views were AMAZING to say the least. Pictures do not do them justice. Highly recommend the property and room!!

What a beautiful property! My family has pointed to the top of Sugar Mountain at SugarTop for years and said "One day we want to stay there!" and this was the year I was able to book it. The accommodations were beautiful. Being able to see the ski slope from the windows was an experience. We even were able to celebrate New Years by looking down on the fireworks. We were very comfortable in this unit and wouldn't hesitate to stay again. No complaints about parking in the lower lot - the shuttle was always less than 5 minutes away and the drivers were a joy. Thank you for helping make our vacation memorable.

Beautiful view, but didn't enjoy having to park in lower parking lot and having to catch shuttle to the top of the mountain. To their credit the shuttles were always very responsive.

Even though it was just my husband and me, there were only two bathing towels each in both bathrooms. As a female with long hair, I use a towel for my body and hair, so I grabbed a towel out of the second bathroom. If we had had others stay with us, there would not have been enough towels. There was only a supply of two towels to be used in the pool and hot tub as well. Additional ones would have been needed if we had had others stay with us. Thank you for renting the condo to us! We had a great time.
