The house was right in the water with a boat launch close to the house also. We were able to leave the boat in the water over night which made the stay even more enjoyable. This is a great house with a wonderful layout.

This place had everything you need. The bunk room for the kids was great! Kids also enjoyed the canoe. Our only thought was with so many people you should have a second couch instead of the chaise chair because there was not enough seating except the chairs at the table which is not as comfy as a couch. The walkway to the water so nice! We loved our stay!

The view is fantastic. The roads getting there are a little scary, particularly after dark, but that's typical of this area of Arkansas. Our main complaint was that the large projection tv in the living area did not work. As it was Thanksgiving, we were not able to get this resolved so had to use the small tv from the bunk room. Also, the gas grill was dirty and the two propane tanks were unusable--one was empty and the other had a problem with the connection. We ended up having to buy two small charcoal grills and charcoal in order to grill our Thanksgiving dinner. Things to do maintenance wise--light bulb in lamp in the living room was burned out,door on hall bath locks but does not latch, bunk room door sticks. Overall a great experience.

The kitchen was spacious and equipped with all the necessary essentials. Sitting on the deck was very relaxing. This is a wonderful place to unwind and connect with family. No WiFi, but we didn't miss it. We went Old School with card games, board games and Tic-Tac-Toe with the younger children. We all had a great time and agreed that we will do it again next year.

The house itself it in respectful condition. The view from the upstairs overlooking the lake is worth the trip itself. The check in/out process is very clear and easy to complete. The only downside we found about our stay was the location of the house compared to the boat storage. It was about a 30 minute drive from Heber springs to Quitman where this house is located but that was a minor inconvenience. Overall my colleagues and I enjoyed our stay.

I liked the open floor plan. I was please to see the updated kitchen and the cookware. The deck was excellent for relaxing. We were isolated from our neighbors. The host anticipated our needs.

I loved the location and view. The house was perfectly laid out and roomy. We weren’t prepared for the black film from the beach. Kids feet and those tiny black rocks were a mess. Other than that, it was a wonderful and relaxing time at the lake.

This property has a lovely location. Having a bathroom for each bedroom was fabulous. The inside was in great shape. The exterior was a little dingy and the deck stairs were scary. There was no WIFI. The kayaks mentioned when I reserved the property Dec 26th were not available in June. The "canoe paddles" were not adequate to power a canoe. They were about 3 feet too short. But overall our stay was great.

Lured Away was the perfect place to stay - very clean, well equipped, and a short walk to the lake with our kayaks. We would definitely stay there again.

My family and I had a great time at this cabin during our winter break. The cabin is located in a remote area right on a lake with very few people around. While we were there, I felt like we had the whole lake to ourselves. The cabin itself is well maintained or recently updated. Each room has its own bathroom. The cabin was well stocked with all of the essentials and tidy during our stay. Would recommend.

Ten family members enjoyed staying at this property. It was nicely decorated and comfortable with a nice view and path to the lake. There was a canoe available for our use. The kitchen was well stocked. We were about 30 from Heber Springs, the nearest grocery, and enjoyed the town. Angies Hideaway restaurant had great food. We ate there twice! We would stay here again. The property management responded to my questions very promptly.

If you love nature and enjoy luxury, this is a perfect match. Photos don’t do justice to this beautiful house, as everything about this house is high quality and upon arrival it was clean, spotless. The property manager was very prompt for answering all questions. Very comfortable 4 bedrooms and updated bathrooms. Kitchen is very well stocked and the house had everything that we needed for our vacation. The view from the deck is priceless and the access to the lake is amazing. We were a group of 8, with 4 adults and 4 children (1-10yrs), thoroughly enjoyed and will come back. We enjoyed grilling too. Highly recommended property.

Reviewer Comments: Commented that my family wouldn’t be arriving until 10:30 or 11:00 pm the 25th of September (our first night) and would that be okay. I never heard anything back. Upon arrival there were absolutely no lights on in the front of the house and a lamp or low lit lamp inside. Reservations never explained where the keypad was so upon walking to the front door realized the grass hadn’t been mowed in what appeared to be over a week. The grass was at least ankle high, there were at least two different pieces of weatherstripping hanging out of the door and the doorbell light busted out with spider or cob webs EVERYWHERE. It was very dark and dingy; I wasn’t even sure we were at the right place. With three kids and a wife...we left and went and got a hotel room in Herber Springs until the next day.

I have never completed a survey or review if I didn't have good things to say. I have never sent my food back at a restaurant because it wasn't the way I ordered it. I don't complain if I have to stand in line too long at the bank or the pharmacy. Things happen and people are not perfect but I felt like this was a bit different situation simply because of the cost and expectations people have when they are planning special time with family. So here is my honest review: We enjoyed our time with family and stayed focused on just being together but overall we were very disappointed in this property. For the price we paid we expected much more. The driveway was extremely steep and when it rained our tires would spin and we had trouble getting up the hill to get out, and because of the logistics had to park our boat trailer on the street. The grass/weeds around the front door were 8 to 12 inches tall. But the most disappointing part was the cleanliness. The shower drain in the bunk room was stopped up and the light was out so my husband drove to the store bought drano and light bulbs (not a short drive), the toilet in the master bathroom had dried urine all down the front of it, there were several light bulbs burned out through out the house, while making the bed in the downstairs bedroom my daughter (40 years old) accidentally bumped the ceiling fan above the bed and everything was immediately covered in dust. We are thankful for the time we had together as family but will do more research and read more reviews before our next rental. #Blessed

We had a wonderful time and the house is beautiful. Plenty of room for the 8 of us. Only thing to improve on is the outside. Lots of spiderwebs and bugs on the deck. Needs to be pressure washed. Otherwise this place is perfect

The cabin was wonderful! It was roomy, a large deck that we relaxed and the kids could play on. We were not on top of each other. The walkway down to the lake was clean and paved. The kids would swim and we even fished .. As for Verbo, Hannah Hill was great, she even put up with a grandmother that wasn’t email savvy.

This property was perfect for my family! Great water location.
