The George is a beautiful place built in the 1300 the food was lovely lots of it service excellent

Super friendly pub in a perfect location. The staff could not be more helpful. The room was very quiet, really comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay - including fresh coffee!! We would love to come back again.

Someone needs to invent an extractor fan which doesn't stay on for ages once you've used the bathroom! Nothing specific to the George Inn of course! A perfect stay!!

Location was okay. The room was lovely, the bed very comfortable and everywhere was spotlessly clean. We paid extra for dinner in the evening which was delicious and a fair price

The breakfast was poor. The cooked breakfast consisted of 1 small link of sausage, 1 rasher of bacon, 2 fried eggs. Not enough toast for 2 people and only 1 glass of fruit juice each. Service was slow for each meal.

Filthy , greasy , red carpet going up to the rooms . What a shame when rest of hotel was very good.

Very good location, a very attractive building set near the top of the hill and commanding a good view, with plenty of free car parking space.

A tiny point - hardly worth mentioning BUT the lavatory seat was too small to fit the bowl and the loo paper holder was loose! The rest was PERFECT.

Everything was lovely. Jane and John were really friendly and helpful. The food was excellent both for breakfast and dinner. We would definitely return if we are in the area again.

Couple of issues: [minor] No hair dryer or water glasses in the room. Hence no water;especially as the weather was extreme. A more effective fan would have been helpful.

Brilliant location with loads of beaches and villages in easy reach. Robertsbridge itself is extremely quaint. The George Inn is very comfortable and welcoming. 5* for the breakfast and last but not least the staff were superb - nothing was too much trouble and gave us some great recommendations for restaurants, parking and places to visit. Bravo John and Jane. Superb.

It was a short stay but it was very nice ,definitely will book again if I will be in the area ..nice clean room with a vintage look ,friendly staff and exceptional food ..
