Vanessa und David sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Idealer Ort für Bergtouren. Das Hostal ist sehr ordentlich und gut strukturiert. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohlgefühlt.

Very comfortable hostel, massive beds (they each have their own PowerPoint and light as well which is great). Shower has hot water which is nice! The common area is very nice for chilling out and meeting people and the hostel in general is very quiet so it's a great place to relax before or after a hike. Staff are helpful 😊

En Villa Bonita, hay todo lo necesario en un hostel : grandes camas comfortables, desayuno incluido, empleados muy simpaticos ! Es facil de encontrar otras personas en este colectivo hostel. La decoracion esta guapa. David habla inglés tambien, entonces no problema para las personas que no hablan espagnol. Si vuelto en Riobamba, estoy seguro ir en este hostel !

A veces la convivencia con otros huéspedes por ejemplo no cocinar muy de noche ya que hay ruido y olores, que se mande papel higiénico en la tasa y se tapona y hay que buscar otro baño.

Villa Bonita Hostel proved to be the perfect choice for my stopover in Riobamba while traveling from the Amazonas region to the coast. This hostel stands out as a modern and beautifully designed accommodation option. The Wi-Fi was exceptional, allowing me to stay connected effortlessly. The beds were not only generously sized but also incredibly comfortable, making for a restful night's sleep. The spacious rooms offered ample storage with large lockers, and the hot showers were a welcome relief after a day of travel. While the breakfast was somewhat repetitive, it still hit the spot and provided a decent start to the day.
The communal area, while functional, lacked a bit of warmth and coziness, making it less inviting for socializing. Additionally, the kitchen, though available, was notably small, which could be limiting for guests who prefer to prepare their own meals. Furthermore, the location was a bit removed from the city's restaurants and amenities, which required a bit of extra effort to find dining options within walking distance. Despite these minor inconveniences, the overall comfort and convenience of the hostel made it a solid choice for a brief stay in Riobamba.

Muito confortável e solicitos os funcionarios. O melhor hostel q já fiquei. Serviço de limpeza, funcionarios atenciosos que atraem bons clientes. Perto do centro, simplesmente sensacional.

Regras são regras, porém, o hostel poderia ser mais flexivel em deixar antigos hospedes que pagaram por uma ducha a ficarem mais tempo, apenas para esperar o onibus ou "matar tempo" de modo mais confortável. Todavia a dona foi muito simpática ao explicar que não poderia flexibilizar

Loved staying here because the owners were so friendly and nice. It felt very homely, and their little dog was very cute.
It was also a good place to meet other travellers and we met lots of nice people.
We had a queen room, which was very spacious. The bed was huge and really comfortable. In addition, it was quiet as not facing the street. The wifi worked really well through the hostal, and I can't really fault anything.
They also had a good laundry service and got our clothes back on the same day.
It's only a few blocks away from the centre of town, so handy for everything.

This place offers garbage service!
I had a booking with them through booking.com and they sent me a message to say they were cancelling with no "reasonable reason" ( 30 min before my arrival in Riobamba) their excuse was that my name on booking looked fake which is complete garbage because its the name on my passport. This hostal instead gave my booked room to someone else most likely who arrived at their reception with no reservation, just so they can bypass booking com and having to pay commission! The receptionist is extremely rude, i dont know how the owner has people like this.

Stayed one week both in privates and in the dorm. Lots of activities around, lovely owners, complimentary breakfast, equipped kitchen and comfy beds. Would totally recommend.

Good environment, most of the other travlers were other hikers so easy to find people to hike with or to get hiking tips. They also rent out some hiking gear at the propety. Was fun cooking dinner in the communcal kitchen. 25 minute walk from bus station, 10 minute walk from centro, plenty of shops nearby. Safe location, wifi was ok.
Breakfast was a little small. Some of private rooms are little expensive for what you get but the dorms an smaller private rooms are realy good value.

The location is really good because it's near the city center. The hostel as good conditions even if you're a digital nomad, since the lounge place as some nice comfortable tables. I just stayed one night to visit Chimborazo and the staff explain me how to get there. The room is actually very cosy and the beds are very comfortable!

I arrived in Riobamba late. Later than the check in time. However, they were nice enough to leave me a key box and detailed instructions on how to get in. The hostel is super clean and pretty (especially for how affordable it is). I really love how spacious the room is (I stayed in a 5-bed dorm). In the morning, they helped me plan my trip to Chimborazo and called a taxi. I would've missed the morning bus to Chimborazo without their help. I would highly recommend Villa Bonita to anyone traveling here. Thank you!

The owners are really kind and helpful and Villa Bonita is a beautiful place to stay. The atmosphere of the Hostel is very pleasant; you can get in touch with people easily, but it is not a noicy place. Totally recomendable.

A German guy FaceTimed with his girlfriend for hours until I coincidentally connected to the WiFi and they weren’t able to talk any longer 😅 it was already 11pm 🤷🏼♂️

nice hostel with a clean and very well equipped kitchen. Beds are big and really comfy, really this is not your common small hostel bed! rooms are very clean and have big lockers where you can store your backpack. bathrooms are very clean and the owners are lovely! they are very welcoming and will help you enjoy your stay in Riobamba. location is perfect, just three blocks from the central market where you can have lunch for 3$ and buy all kind of veggies and meat. breakfast is nice and vary, with eggs, yogurt, fruits and coffe/tea!

One of the best hostels I stayed in. The most beautiful dorms, with the most comfortable and widest beds. Vanessa is a true host (so friendly and kind) and cares so much about the place! Would go back tomorrow!

The owners are super nice and gives recommendations gladly and with a smile. The beds are big and comfy, the room spacious, the shower is hot, the wifi worked well. Very good atmosphere, met great people. Definitely recommend!
I personally don't like the automatic lights in the bathroom - Keeps turning off and at night dazzling. But that's a small thing.
