The manageress of the property was absolutely lovely. The room was fine and the bed comfortable with good air-conditioning. Nice view from the balcony across to the little island and the bay. Plenty of room to store luggage.

Unfortunately, despite the warm welcome and the sweet room, we only stayed one night as the area around the property is not safe in the evening. The road is generally very dark, the pavements are broken and it’s better to walk in the road, which would be ok if it wasn’t such a busy street - or it was when we arrived in the early evening. We had been in Guadeloupe for a couple of weeks by the time we arrived in Le Gosier and it was the only town - or area that felt menacing. As it turned out, we were right on our instincts as we were attacked by 2 youths on our way back from a snacky dinner at about 9pm (so not late!) One grabbed my necklace and broke it, luckily, I managed to keep hold of it and we thought that was that as he ran off, but moments later he ran back and sprayed my husband in the face with mace (pepper spray). Then he ran again, spraying the mace as he ran so that we both were affected. Weirdly, that very busy street was silent at that time, and then, once he ran off, it was as busy as it was before. We reported it to the police with the help of the wonderful manageress of the property, so we really hope they are caught. As one of the pleasures is to go out in the evening for dinner and explore, we moved away the following day as we were very uncomfortable with the thought of going out in that area after dark. Plus it was the final few days of our lovely holiday and we didn’t want this experience to be the last thing we remembered of it. It is a real shame that at the time of writing this, we were not compensated at all by the property or Booking, but we preferred to feel safe than stay in that area. I’d love to be able to make an amendment to this last statement.

Amazing views, everything you might need is in the appartement which is located very close to a beautiful beach. The other parts of the island easily accessible by public transport. Aurélie,the host, was super friendly and accessible and went out of her way to accommodate our needs.

I bought my own towels. Did not use the kitchen at all. Not to mention the noise upstairs. People were pulling furnitures all evening. Even early morning they started at 7am. It sounded like a construction above us. Half or less roll of toilet paper. One face towel (we were 2 people) No airport shuttle existed (not what it was mentioned in the listing) Don’t be fooled looking at their photos. I definitely not recommend this place for anyone.

Our hostess was great! She did everything to make us comfortable. Our room was small (we knew it would be) but it didn't matter because we spent most of our time on the balcony with a gorgeous view.

Sometimes the street noise was loud.

We stayed on the top floor apartment for a week. It was very bright, clean and quiet! Enough space for family and perfect location in Gosier (even without a car)! Host is helpful and almost every morning in her office downstairs if you need anything.

The bed was comfy. Internet was okish ( stable, sometimes a bit weak for video calls) The view is very nice exactly as on the picture but you really can't sit out to enjoy it due to the noise. The staff is nice and welcoming Easy to get the key with key box. The location is close to the beach

Extremely loud locations - rising street with many car passing by loudly all day long ( noise rather ok from 11pm to 6am till traffic starts). Not recommended at all if you're planning to work there over the day or enjoy the view on the terrasse. The room is very outdated with mold in bathroom, the fridge was not working well. Cleaning was not included. Previous guests do it themselves with very few tools/products available so its not very clean like with professional cleaning.
