For the price of an average hotel room we were able to stay in a cute cabin that was well furnished and in a great location. Well worth every penny and will definitely keep it mind for future trips.

Wonderful rental. Can’t get over how cute this place is set up. Restored 1930’s cabin with modern conveniences but decorated with 1930’s theme. Very clean and comfortable. Windows were working with good screens letting a nice cross breeze through the cabin. Within walking distance to almost everything. We took our small rescue dogs for their first getaway. We loved having them with us it was nice to have a fenced yard to let them out freely for a bit. We would definitely recommend this fantastic rental. We will be back.

I could write so much about this place. It BLEW OUR MIND. Just the cutest place that has so much attention to detail. We kept talking about how cozy it was and that we didn’t want to leave. The property was as advertised or better in many cases. We loved the location, enjoying the "Bierworks" within walking distance and close proximity (<30 mins) to Pike's Peak and Garden of the Gods. And, the view of Pike's Peak from the front yard is a nice way to start and finish the day.

Great property, close to everything in the area. Saw deer almost daily, hot tub was a great way to wind down each day. Hosts were very responsive with all questions I had, even brought batteries for the remotes. Would definitely stay again.

Very cute and cozy cabin. We visited with our young children. Walking distance to dinosaur resource center, aquatic center, park, and donut mill! We did also visit Bierworks:). The cabin is perfect, we would love to come back in the warmer months to enjoy the outdoor fire pit! Highly recommend!

Our stay was really good. The Sugar Shack property was very nice and even better than we expected.

This was our first family vacation in Colorado and this cabin looked amazing when we booked it and it didn't disappoint! It was in a great location, it was so warm and welcoming and relaxing! The owners were so welcoming and helped with any questions that we had. We have fallen in love with Colorado and we would love to stay here again to make our new family trip that more special to make new memories every year!

Our family of four and 2 dogs spent a relaxing long weekend at the Sugar Shack. We felt at home as soon as we arrived and found it equipped with everything we needed. The kids are still talking about the loft room and the swing bed. That was the highlight for them. I loved the hot tub and the mountain view. The dogs loved the fenced yard and neighborhood walks. We booked last minute and the Hosts were quick to respond to our questions. The cabin was very clean and was very thoughtfully stocked with essentials and kitchen gear. We can't wait to come back!

It was everything my family and I imagined it would be. The cabin was awesome, the town was perfect, and we couldn’t have asked for a better Christmas In Colorado!

Our family of 5 spent our 2nd week-long Thanksgiving here. We have officially outgrown this lovely little cabin. The view is amazing and the town is really neat. The deer coming into the yard is always fun and memorable. But this time, the dishwasher didn't work -no bueno for Thanksgiving week. The towels smelled like someone washed the bathroom rug with them. The kitchen is not equipped to handle Thanksgiving either. We had to make a few runs to the store to make ot work. Please add door rugs; snow is easily tracked in and it makes a mess. Lastly if you stay here, bring shower shoes because the rocks in the shower hurt your feet and if you're shorter that 5'5" then plan on getting ready in the closet. The bathroom mirror is too tall for us shorties.

Such a great place. We all had a wonderful time, your home is so warm and welcoming, my friends fell in love with your home and this great little town. The only thing was we are old, and we like a hard shower and yours is like standing outside during an April shower, not a lot of water LOL. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your home.

This place is spot on the way it is listed. The location is excellent and it's exactly what you'd want for a mountain getaway. Great proximity to pikes peak and garden of the gods. We will definitely return.

This property was fantastic! It easily slept our family of 5 (me and my husband and 3 adult children) along with our small dog. The living space inside was great for all of us, without being cramped, which was nice because it rained almost every evening we were there, forcing us inside. It was an easy drive to get to.all of the attractions we wanted to visit, and also within easy walking distance to restaurants and coffee shops. Hot tub was great, beds were comfy, and the cabin had all the little things we needed. Had lots of deer visit us too! And of course the best part was the fantastic view! We loved looking at Pike's Peak as we ate breakfast and dinner each day. We'd stay in this cabin again if we are ever in the area! Thanks for a great family vacation, where we were able to visit our oldest son stationed at Ft. Carson before our youngest son ships out to basic training next month. Fabulous!

The Sugar Shack is absolutely charming! All of the decorating touches were very cool. We all also enjoyed the surprise visits by the deer. Woodland Park is a nice sized town...enjoyed Memorial Park, the farmer's market and the dog park.

The log cabin and the decorating were fun. We had everything we needed and the visiting mule deer were fun to see

We loved our week at the cabin. W enjoyed the convenience of everything that was provided. We loved the game table downstairs. And most of all enjoyed watching the deer in the backyard each evening and morning. Would happily stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our all stay at this cabin. Easy access to 24, walking distance to a beautiful park, coffee shops, dinosaur resource center and great food options. Gas grill, picnic table, hot tub and hammock were all hits. The loft was great for the teenage girls. Foosball and washer/dryer downstairs made for easy cleaning and fun. Everyone loved it and we plan to stay again.
