Owners were very thorough with instructions before my stay, should I want to go walking or out to country pubs and restaurants. But as I'd travelled by train and had come for the Comedy Festiva,l in April 2023. I remained close to town. Great central location, within easy walking distance of train station, comedy venues, shops, pubs and eateries. As I'd planned to cook for myself, I did so and was delighted to have the facilities to do this. Some nice welcoming touches such as tea, coffee, milk and Welsh cakes, in the kitchen and a few sweets on the bed. Beautifully clean, spacious, light and airy, with plenty of hangers for clothes. Very comfortable double bed. My request for some thin pillows was honoured. I was given a jar of delicious homemade honey to take home with me, by the owners too. Thankyou.

Lack of handrail on steep stairs up to the room, as difficult to negotiate with a large suitcase, when you're an older lady. Lack of armchair in room, as when it was raining, I stayed indoors during free time and read a book. Anything else I had problems with was due to my own inability to operate electrical equipment, I'd not seen before, or due to my lack of prior communication about spending time in the apartment, during the daytime. But this was quickly rectified by the owners coming to the apartment to instruct me and to change the heating programme.

Location was perfect. Easy to walk into the town centre. Clean and modern interior. Comfy bed. Great communication from host.

Only one glass for soft drinks. WiFi was a little intermittent at times. No bin in the bathroom and another hook for hanging towels would have been nice.

The hosts were so helpful and super nice! They gave us a bunch of recommendations, and answered all our questions. They even helped us find a last-minute solution for our friend who had his flight canceled and had to stay an extra night with us. It is also beautifully situated, definitely worth a visit!

The room has everything needed and is clean. They might have some issues with humidity perhaps. But it wasn't a big problem for us.

The room on the whole was nice on the surface with everything you could need. The Welsh cakes and dog treats were a nice touch. The communication from the owners was great and the instructions for the drive they offer was a great addition.

When delving a little closer in the room we realised the heating was controllable (made for cold points during a wet and windy stay). The booking said free pets however this was an additional charge but it was paid so our dog could travel as intended. Plug socket not attached to the wall. Freezer door broken. No extractor in the room so each time breakfast was cooked the fire alarm went off even with windows open. Window sills unfinished. The access was a little confusing at first but we worked it out and the free layby parking mentioned is a 20 minute (from memory) stay so the car park was the only option.

Very spacious and clean studio with all the utensils and appliances you need for a short stay.

Strong smell of bleach when I entered the studio for the first time, had to keep the windows open for a couple of hours.

The decor of the room is fantastic. Very dog friendly. Brilliant correspondence with James throughout. The Indian directly across the road is lovely. Good hub to take in such hikes as Four Falls and the Reservoir.

the room looked nothing like the photos online, our room was not quirky. No oven. heating also controlled by hosts so we were chilly BUT informed hosts and they accommodated us wonderfully

the heating panel looked very unsafe due to the over people what stayed there but Angela was very happy to give us the choice off another room it was Christmas time so I understand no one could come and fix that week

Right in town, beautifully decorated, key code to doors so no keys to hand back, and very clean. Just beautiful and romantic.

Nothing, owners were at the end of the phone and we will be going back.
